If you are searching for a DJ, you seriously need to stop your search here. Our guests literally chanted in unison at the end of the night begging for Dougie to stay and play another song -- i've never seen anything like it in my life!
Dougie was an absolute joy to work with (one of our favourite vendors hands down) and made a perfect night that much more special with the quality of his work. Aside from the actual DJ'ing part, Dougie is extremely kind, fun, and accommodating -- you could tell he cared about making our night everything we hoped for music wise.
The music played throughout the reception was PERFECT and he kept the flow of the evening going perfectly which added a beautiful ambiance and energy to the dinner. The dancing after dinner was the best we had ever experienced at a wedding and while we may be biased, the number of guests who came up to us during and after the wedding raving about our DJ should tell you enough. We're still getting messages about it. He kept the energy up all night and kept building off of what the crowd was wanting, which kept the dance floor packed and high energy all night. Sometimes I felt like he was reading my mind because every song was better than the next!! Best night ever.
Do yourselves a favour and book DJ Dougie Boom for your wedding day!!!! -

I didn't really know what to expect when hiring a wedding DJ, I thought maybe I could just make a Spotify playlist and it would be the same... But I was so wrong. Dougie timed all of our songs (entrance, first dances, party songs) perfectly and made them go together so well. I can't remember a moment all night when it felt like the energy dropped. From initial conversation to arrival on the day-of, everything was seamless. I can't recommend Dougie highly enough :) -

Dougie has the best timing of any DJ we’ve ever heard. Extremely responsive to what’s happening during dinner and great at reading the crowd dancing. Our dance floor was full all night long! He picked up on the vibe right away and played only bangers. He had the perfect song for every moment!

Super talented and friendly DJ! (worked with us for our wedding)
Dougie was awesome to work with, and he really got and kept the dance floor moving at our wedding! He has a good range of musical awareness (and knows a lot of good hip hop!) so he's able to cater to different preferences. Dougie came early to make sure everything was in place and managed his entire setup and take down independently. Having someone as easy-going and friendly as Dougie made the whole experience that much better, I can't recommend him enough! -

We were one of many couples that had to postpone their wedding due to covid. Dougie was great to work with and made a stressful situation easier. He took our original playlists, fleshed them out and really captured what we wanted for our special day. Throughout the night we received numerous compliments from our guests on the music. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a DJ.
