We wanted to party and boy did DJ Goodword bring the beats!!! What a wonderful human being and I cannot recommend him MORE for any celebration!! We ABSOLUTELY will be using his services again! 10/10.

Ed was a fabulous addition to our wedding reception! We met shortly before the event and chatted about music options, a no-fly list and how he keeps the momentum going on the dance floor. He has a great set up and fades each song into each other so well!! The music selection catered to everyone at our reception. Everyone was smiling and sweating from all the dancing!

The guests at our wedding could not stop talking about Ed after our wedding. He was a huge hit, with everyone raving that he was the coolest DJ they had ever seen at a wedding, with his rapping on the dance floor, and that he played the best music. He can read the room for what keeps people dancing, and I honestly believe that the dance floor at our wedding was the busiest, non-stop, one I have ever seen. Ed was hands down THE easiest vendor I dealt with during our wedding planning. We told Ed what we needed once and that was it. Handled like a pro. My favourite part about dealing with Ed, is that it is his business, not a large scale DJ business where you don't know who the person is that is going to show up to on your day. With Ed, there is no choosing between a bunch of package prices to figure our how long and what you need him for. Ed was there before our 1:30am ceremony to set up, right until we had to shut down at 2am. This is really above and beyond and makes him the best value! I have nothing but good things to say about DJ Goodword! Thank you for being there are helping to make our wedding day so easy.

Ed was a fantastic DJ for our wedding! After seeing him at our friends wedding in 2017 we booked him for ours in August of 2019. He was super easy to work with, and we did a phone call before we confirmed the booking to make sure we were a fit for each other. We had a great time at our consult meeting, and he had some good suggestions of songs to use. He worked with our MC on a couple of gag songs during her speech, and most importantly the dance floor was packed all night (once it got too dark to see the lawn games, at any rate). He really paid attention to the vibe of the room but was willing to change gears when certain songs were requested. Would absolutely recommend Ed to anyone who wants a fun DJ to keep the party going.

Ed was incredible. He was easy to communicate with and accommodating of our requests before the big day, and completely killed it the day of. Our dance floor was packed until 4 in the morning. From a musical perspective, his song selections read the crowd, conformed to our general tastes and were right on. He also mixes tracks brilliantly. Ed with Goodword DJ services is absolutely incredible. He really tailors the day to what you want it to be. He is so organized, prepared and professional, its incredible. He thinks of things that you yourself don't even think of. Not only is he an INCREDIBLE DJ but he offers a helping hand at anything that you throw at him. He was an absolute joy to work with. His versatility is so appreciated. He managed the sounds for our outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour and then our indoor reception. It always sounded perfect!!

As for the DJ side of things - he absolutely does it best. He knows how to keep the party going and to also keep every family member pleased- from Grandma to the young dancers. His music choices are top notch, I couldn't ask for anything more. Our dance floor was always bumping, thanks to Ed.

Ed did an awesome job, he totally set the tone at our wedding. Played the right songs at the right times, was always on point with taking requests when they were good, and rejecting them when they were bad haha. Always had perfect volume and mixing, and was a ton of fun. Thanks again! Made everything super easy. Also did a great job setting up mics for our MC/speeches/etc. Definitely recommend him.

We have already recommended Edward to 2 couples. The man is a genius! Not only is he super composed, professional and understanding in the preparation phases, he is an extension of the day. Edward is always willing to help out where he is needed and when it comes to the party portion of the party, I've never seen a DJ with so much style and charisma to keep the party going on all levels.
