  Personable, Calm and Flexible!

  We loved having Charles a part of our wedding ceremony. He was easy to communicate with before the wedding. Charles was able to take what we gave him in terms of music inspo and make it come to life. He kept within the realm of what we wanted to hear while also being accommodating to our guests. He was so friendly and flexible when you would ask to him to rejig things or even to announce that the desserts are out.
  
  He made our night so fun and memorable. Thank you Charles!

  Responsible and Responsive DJ

  From the moment I spoke to Charles, I knew he was the one for our wedding. I actually loved the fact that I wasn't asked to download the music from Spotify and send him the download! He provided a wonderful service and was professional and very responsive to our guests' needs playing music for ages spanning 60 years! His affiliation with the Marc Joseph Band also was super helpful and made the transition from band music to DJ music so easy! Do yourself a favour and hire Charles if you want a DJ to really work hard to ensure you are thrilled with your party's music!

  Charles is an excellent wedding dj!

  We hired Charles to dj our wedding and he didn't disappoint! He was easy to work with and very accommodating. He rocked the dancefloor and closed out the evening in style!

  Don't wait... book him for your next event!

  I am so grateful and so impressed with Charles' DJing service. Prior to the wedding, he asked us to create a playlist of songs we liked. He then took the genres of songs and created an amazing mix that my guests absolutely loved! He had everyone dancing and even took requests. You won't regret booking him for any event.

  10/10 experience

  We hired HalfSquare Events for our wedding DJ. Right from the beginning, we felt that Charles was perfect for our big day. We're big music lovers, so we wanted someone that could play our favourites (house) and work them in with crowd pleasers our guests would love.
  
  Charles definitely delivered! He was extremely professional, friendly, and responsive. He loves his work and it shows. Justin (the groom) is an amateur DJ and Charles was game to have him hop on the decks and finish off the evening, which was a lot of fun for everyone. We had a great day and the biggest part of that was our amazing vendors (including Charles!) who were on top of every aspect of the day so that we could relax and enjoy it. 10/10 would recommend.

  From our first contact to our wedding day, my experience working with Charles was truly exceptional. He was diligent, prompt, and professional in every interaction I had with him.   The DJ team at Halfsquare Events knows how to put on a party! With all the restrictions that were in place we opted for a small celebration party a few months after we eloped when gathering limits increased, and their micro wedding service was just what we needed. They were able to turn our condo party room into a beautiful reception! The sound was great (and stayed within the condo limits), and the extra lighting really made the room feel special. And the music was on point! They played all our favourites, and were able to easily accommodate guest requests on the fly. Would highly recommend Halfsquare Events!

  Great wedding DJ

  We hired half square events as our DJ for our wedding. They were so professional, clean, minimal set up and listened to our suggestions. They also gave us some great recommendations on music choices and played a great variety that kept all guests entertained and on the dance floor all night long. I would highly recommend using half square events as a DJ for any nuptuals or any gathering you are having.
