Terry & Gerri Homemade Jams!! Awesome couple to work with. 100% response to email & phone calls. DJ & Decorations. Gave them a music list to play at our wedding. They added afew songs to play, which everyone loved. Terry, great MC. My husband & I, our wedding party, played trivia questions & the shoe game. It was so much fun. Great idea she had! Her decorations were soooo beautiful!! The ivory swag, lights & sequin and ivory tablecloth were such a perfect touch for wedding. Overall Terry & Gerri, awesome couple! Book them & you won't be disappointed.

We originally hired Terry and Gerri to be our DJ's for our new years eve wedding with a 120 guest list, and then when covid hit, we kept in contact with them to discuss options. They told us that Gerri was an officiant and Terry a wedding planner and they ended up marrying us, decorating, playing music, doing up my dress, and Terry was one of our witnesses when we decided to elope at our home. Everything we had originally decided to do ended up changing and they were so great along the whole process!! Terry even took a video of the ceremony that we were later able to show our families, I didn't even ask her to! Thank you so much, everything was perfect and we couldn't have done it without you two!!

Terri and Gerry were incredible for our small outdoor wedding. They were flexible and were responsible with the Covid-19 regulations that we needed to follow, as well as took into consideration accessibility in an outdoor setting for some guests.
They were incredibly helpful with suggestions and set up/took down everything which gave us the opportunity to spend the whole wedding/after the wedding spending time with our guests and enjoying the beautiful water front view of their property. Having no idea what we wanted for music and being unprepared, they quickly adapted and accommodated, they played music that everyone really enjoyed!
I would recommend Homemade jam over and over again for anyone who is wanting a reliable, flexible and friendly pair to help with your day.

Terry & Gerri offer so many incredible services and we enjoyed working with them! They were the DJs, the decorators, the MCs, photobooth, day of coordinator, and officiant for our wedding. They exceeded all expectations and were incredibly helpful in planning the details of our wedding.

Terry took our Harry Potter theme and ensured that our venue was decorated for a magical evening. Gerri was inclusive and accommodating when it came to officiating our wedding, and helping us plan a ceremony that felt right for us As two men, we had a less traditional and more relaxed feel to our wedding, and Gerri made sure to incorporate our ideas and preferred language.

Gerri’s DJing skills kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night – there was not a single moment when the dance floor was empty and our guests loved the mixture of oldies and current top 40 favourites.

The Photobooth was an incredibly fun activity. The professional props brought along were great, and included a few customized personalized for our big day! Guests loved taking a break from the dance floor to dress themselves up and snap a few pictures, and we loved reading through the photo album containing their photos and short messages.

Overall, we would recommend DJ Homemade Jamz for any wedding, or event really, and especially to folks seeking a very LGBT+ friendly vendor.

We hired Terry and Gerri for our wedding last month and could not have been happier!! Regarding the DJ services, Gerri was FANTASTIC. I have never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding. He knew just what to play to keep the guests dancing all night, and the next fews days several people commented on how great the music was. The volume of music was perfect during dinner, and ramped up afterward.

Terry was very helpful in keeping everything on track, and working with our MC to announce important things. She had some great suggestions ahead of the wedding that we would have never thought of! She also designed a beautiful graphic for our photobooth print outs. The photobooth was a HUGE hit.

Terry and Gerri were amazing! They really have weddings down to a science. They were very thorough with the music selection for the whole day and you can tell that they have lots of experience. They may be more expensive than other DJs but definitely are worth it. They had so many people dancing from the get go and the dance floor was busy all night. Terry really does help make the day go by smoothly and came to check that everything was ok (the volume of the music during dinner, etc.). We really liked how we had a 2 hour phone conversation and went through every step of the day with them. They had awesome ideas such as a conga line to get everyone dancing again after the bouquet/garter toss - we had 40 people easily in a line it was amazing! They will help with things that are not necessarily DJ related since they have a lot of experience with weddings. They gave us a lot of tips and helped us go in the right direction even with some of our other vendors. We did notice while we met them the first and second time that they do promote quite a bit some of the other things they offer such as the photo booth or lighting or backdrops. We ended up just going with their regular package with ceremony music as well which was definitely worth it for our outdoor wedding. We highly recommend these two!!
