  Above and Beyond!

  Our DJ went above and beyond to help make our wedding day incredible!!! They made sure to incorporate everything we requested!! We had Karaoke at our wedding and working with the DJ he made it go flawlessly!! Absolutely amazing!

  Extremely Satisfied - DJ James rocked!

  Elliott responded to our request right away and DJ James was amazing. Kept the dance floor packed the entire night and we couldn't be happier with choosing Hot Wax Entertainment for our wedding. We had multiple guests ask us where we found the DJ and would recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ for their upcoming wedding/event.

  Fantastic!

  We are so happy we chose Hot Wax for our wedding! The entire process was so organized and smooth and the whole team was just a pleasure to work with. We had so much fun and danced the night away!
  
  Our DJ, DJ Paul was FANTASTIC! What an excellent choice! He truly made our night memorable. We had many guests mention how great the music and the DJ were, and there were many people (including myself and my husband!) dancing till the very end. Many thanks to DJ Paul, to Elliott and the whole Hot Wax team for your outstanding work!

  Thank you Elliot, Mike, and Keith!

  The Gig Bar and Photobooth were a huge hit at our wedding. Mike did an exceptional job DJ'ing, and Keith was a huge help manning the photobooth. The music selection was 10/10, setup/take down were fast, and we received many compliments from our guests towards them both.

  Could not have asked for anything more! Elliott was responsive from the start. Always answering emails in a timely manner and was quick to be flexible with any unique ideas or changes we had. Our DJ, Paul, was amazing! He read the room so well. He was great at announcements and checked in on us throughout the night. They were so easy going and everything was seamless.

  DJ Mike and Elliott were the best!

  DJ Mike was truly the best, we were truly lucky to have him. He was super kind and accommodating, also played all the songs we requested! 11/10 service!

  Wedding DJ July 2024

  We had a blast listening to the dinner music and dancing to Mike’s set all night! Everyone had a great time on the dance floor. It was a pleasure working with Elliot and Mike. Quick and easy to communicate with, very professional, and they were open to song requests. We will definitely recommend Hot Wax Entertainment to our friends and family!

  Great service from both the DJ and the owner

  We couldn't be happier with the service we got from Hot Wax. Elliott was more than happy to talk with us over the phone multiple times to explain the entire process to us, as well as give us advice for the decisions we were less confident about. He as also very quick to respond via email for every little question we had. Our DJ Paul was very efficient and accommodating, even helping the bride and her friends put on a special a cappella performance during the reception. I'd highly recommend Hot Wax to anyone.

  Wedding DJ

  We hired Hotwax as our wedding DJ and it was the best decision we made! Elliott (owner) was extremely helpful and had a rapid response rate, helping to coordinate the event details painlessly. DJ James was absolutely fantastic on the day of the wedding and all of the music played during the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception went seamlessly. James was taking requests through the entire night and helped create a fantastic dance party that lasted through the entire evening. Cannot thank Hotwax enough!!

  We got married at the UBC Boathouse and Hot Wax was one of a few endorsed DJs. After working with them, it is no surprise why they are endorsed by so many venues and are hired for so many events. When you hire Hot Wax, you get Elliott (the founder), who despite having been in the business for over 38 years, is still one of the most responsive, flexible, and friendly vendors we worked with. His email response time is lightning quick! This ongoing commitment to quality and customer service is likely one of the reasons why Hot Wax has been so successful. Elliott's professionalism and commitment to ensuring your event is perfect trickles down the organization. Hot Wax is a leader in DJ services for a reason. They are not a company that has taken their foot off the gas after seeing success; they strive for excellence and we are so glad we went with them. On the day of, we had DJ Chuck, who was friendly, responsive, and flexible. We had a few older guests who were sensitive to sound as well as children, who had unique song requests. He worked with us in making everyone happy (and threw in "I like to move it" from Madagascar for my 3.5 year old niece). I can't speak highly enough of Elliott, DJ Chuck, and the Hot Wax Team. I highly recommend them for anyone getting married.
