My new husband and I cannot recommend Legendary Sound enough. Rich was an absolute pleasure to work with and made the planning process so easy! He helped guide us through the process of choosing music and what smaller events we would like to add to the reception (cake cutting music/announcing games etc.) This was especially great because we did not have a wedding planner and I had never hired a DJ previously, so walking us through everything helped immensely.
The music was fun and engaging and Rich was a great MC, and made the sequence of events smooth and effortless. He has an extensive music library and seamlessly mixed different genres and eras, keeping the dance floor going into the night. :)
It was clear they genuinely cared about making our wedding a memorable experience. They were friendly, engaging, and went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had a great time. I would 100% recommend them if you have an event coming up. 😊

Rich was friendly, professional, flexible and just amazing all around from start to finish! He made it out to Jasper, AB for our wedding and played the best songs for our party. He even had all the conservative Korean parents dancing (not an easy feat) as well as the younger crowds, and the dance floor was busy until 1:30 A.M.! He even MC'ed for us and was amazingly flexible with last minute changes. Everyone commented on our amazing DJ and how much fun they had at the reception! Booking with Legendary Sound was very easy to do. Our prom was an amazing night due to them! They arrived at the venue on time and set up with no issues. When asked if we could set up a video to play last minute they were super flexible and helped us do it. Would book again for any events in the future!

We hired Rich for our Jack&Jill as well as our wedding. We received many many compliments on him. For our Jack&Jill he did a great job at reading the crowd for what music to play. He also did a fantastic job Mc'ing the night too, very enthusiastic, very clear to understand on the mic and he is just a happy upbeat guy. For our wedding he called us ahead of time to get all the info for our big day. So he gets well acquainted with the couple and what our needs and wants were. The night went so smoothly thanks to him since he knew our timing on everything. And again, he did a great job of reading the crowd for the music. Rich is also so personable on the mic we had so many people come up and compliment how he was that night. My main thing was I wanted a fun wedding and to be remembered and I think Rich is to thank for the majority of that. Also, he was liked so much that my 2 brother in laws got married the following year and both hired him as their DJ too!

I’ve seen this DJ in action many times, and have hired Rich for my stag & doe. We had an incredible night and heard so many comments about how great the music was. Rich made the atmoshplehere, playlist, and dance floor a blast. He also MC’d our games and really knows how to engage dig the crowd. We had such a great time and all our guest did as well.

Our wedding was in August 2019 and we used Legendary Sound as our DJ. The owner (Rich) was a true professional in all facets of the word. He was gentlemanly, personable, kind and brought a wealth of experience (he even told us about an event where he was asked by the bride and groom to play all metal music...tough task i say!). He really made this process easy for us. Because of his experience he was able to give us several different options (when to do the speeches, how long the songs should be for first dances, etc). We met with Rich (and his lovely wife) about a month before the wedding with NO real idea on what we wanted for our wedding so we were a little nervous. However, when we left the meeting we felt so relieved and way more comfortable about the entire day. He assured us that nothing would get in the way of him playing music at our wedding. He allowed us to make a playlist and took requests at the event. However, again because of his experience, he is able to play music based on what the people at the event are taking to. He knows whats best to play during cocktail hour and during the reception. He was so accommodating he even let our 2 young nephews 'help' DJ with him. We got some amazing photos of them in head sets behind the booth and of course with a huge smile on the face of Rich.

All in all we couldn't be happier with the service, quality and professionalism of Rich from Legendary Sound and would recommend this service to anyone! If you have it all planned out or have no idea what you want (like us) Legendary Sound will be able to accommodate your needs and more!

We had Richard at our wedding in August & he was beyond great to deal with! He was very professional, fun & kept our dance floor bumping all night!! He was also our MC and he did a phenomenal job. We heard nothing but great comments from our guests about the service Richard provided us!
