acMillan Entertainment deserves the highest rating possible. From the very beginning, every single person we have come in contact with in this company has demonstrated their commitment to excellent customer service, clear communication, and their love and appreciation for music and event planning. The portal system for requests/playlists is user friendly and convenient. We worked with Jonathon, who is someone who has clearly found his calling in being a DJ. His professionalism, friendliness, and WILDLY IMPRESSIVE problem solving skills are like no other. From our first meeting, we connected with him and knew our reception would be in good hands. He was attentive, thorough, and was genuinely dedicated to making our day the best it could be. He went the extra mile to create personalized mixes, which was just so above and beyond - we were in shock. His after hours communication via email and text was prompt and detailed. If we could rate him higher than "Excellent", we would. Even with the absolutely CHAOS that ensued prior to our ceremony due to a very unfortunate weather event/our tent vendor not doing their job properly, Jonathon (and Tim - thank you so much) pulled everything together in time for both our ceremony and reception to operate on time. We seriously cannot even begin to express our gratitude to not only Jonathon, but MacMillan as a whole. Had we chose any other DJ company, I can't imagine things would have come together the way they did. We will be actively searching for ways to leave glowing reviews everywhere we can, and have told all of our family and friends how impressed we are with the service we have received. We will absolutely be booking MacMillan (and specifically Jonathon) for any future events we are involved in. Ty was the best DJ. He was so responsive, played the music we asked for an incorporated his own style. He had the party going until the end of the night. Dance floor was full and everyone kept coming up to us saying how this was the best DJ they've heard in years. -

Scott provided top-notch service at our wedding this weekend. His professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to making our day beyond special stood out to us and our guests. The ceremony was as smooth as jazz music thanks to Scott's perfect timing of all our ceremony tunes. Guests of all ages can't stop telling us how lovely the music was all night - from the cocktail hour to the reception to the unbelievable party that danced the night away. Scott did a phenomenal job of curating and playing a mix of songs that everyone could enjoy while also playing all our favourites!! His dedication to getting to know us before our wedding ensured our day was absolutely perfect! Our guests also RAVED about the photo booth so we want to extend a special thanks to Michelle and Lillian for ensuring the booth ran smoothly all night! We wish we could add a sixth star to this tremendous service! We cannot recommend Scott, Michelle, Lillian, and MacMillan Entertainment highly enough!

We had Jason Ferguson as our DJ through Macmillan Entertainment Group, we promise you will NOT be disappointed in their services at all!
We couldn't have had a better experience and Jason handled the day with so much ease and had everything flowing smoothly.
They triple checked our timelines, our songs, and the videos we had included so that nothing was left to chance, with a few links to custom songs, a shoe game, and some announcements, we still knew that in his hands we had nothing to worry about! Everything played with no issues.
Thank you so much for making our day so fun and a bit magical!

Tim Macmillan from the first conversation helped us decided if this was the service we needed.
David went above and beyond for us! from our first phone conversation with him to talk about all the small details, to meeting him in person the day of the wedding and making sure all our wants and needs came true. David worked well with our MC we hired for the evening, and made the night an unforgettable night.

David was our DJ and MC for our ceremony and reception. He was very professional and timely. He incorporated all our requests and preferences perfectly. All our guests and us had a great time on the dance floor. Music was great! -

We were lucky to have DJ Frost (Mike) for our wedding. He is simply the best!
He got a feel for what we wanted during our zoom meeting, and by some of the options we selected on the MacMillan Group questionnaire. He is very detail oriented- he even remembered what songs I switched out and used them when our timelines were a little off. He kept the guests informed about what was next to come, he kept the day moving along as it was planned. He was on point all day and all night! The dance floor was NEVER empty. Everyone had a blast!
I provided some recommendations of certain songs that were “must plays” and an idea of some songs we liked. We gave him creative control and he read the room! There is not one thing, not one song that I would change.
Mike is the man! He was also a great MC for us! I would hire MacMillan for any event!MacMillan Entertainment Group's reply:
