Mico is a DJ, event organizer & music entrepreneur.

He grew up playing the drums, listening to tracks, making playlists and burning custom CDs.

Since 2011 Mico has been providing premier DJ entertainment at weddings, clubs, festivals, and parties throughout Calgary and beyond.

Now 30 years young, Mico uses his musical knowledge and social skills to keep the dance floor packed and his clients happy.

He is a crowd pleaser who interacts with guests, learns what they like, and adapts to the energy in the room.

In November of 2017, Mico travelled to Melbourne, Australia to hone his wedding DJ skills with Melbourne Entertainment Company, where he earned 'Entertainer of the Month' in February of 2018.

There he learned a great deal about professional entertainment from one of the best companies in the world, and was immersed in Melbourne's vibrant dance music scene, enjoying some of the best parties in the world.

During this time, Mico met a group of legends and founded two successful EDM events communities and brands—Red Moon and Renegade.

With these brands he and the team organized over 60 unique electronic events, provided entertainment for thousands of music enjoyers, partnered with brands like Jägermeister, and hosted world renowned DJs, such as Nick Warren. As a DJ, Mico had the pleasure of performing at some of the finest and funnest venues throughout Melbourne, including Australia’s version of Burning Man (Burning Seed).

Mico is a nimble navigator on the decks, who plays exactly what his clients and their guests want to hear. You're there at your wedding, and you want him to play a song that comes to mind? He'll drop it in smoothly in a matter of seconds. Even if it's not on the sheet, and not already saved in the library, he'll run it through Spotify in a jiffy.

You provide Mico with your top picks, any playlists you have going, and he will create the perfect playlists for your wedding, helping you fill in the blanks by drawing on his extensive, carefully curated music playlists.

As the founder and the one you'd be speaking to from the first consultation right up until the wedding, Mico will help you make wedding music selection super easy. He created the DJ document, a questionnaire & checklist, which will guide you through the process, and give you ideas on what we can play for the ceremony, cocktails, dinner, and dance, including all those special moments, like walking down the aisle, and the first dances. ​

Mico will work with you to create the perfect wedding playlist, with everything you want, and nothing that you don't. With him at the helm of your special night, you can relax and focus on having fun, as he plays all your favorite tracks in just the right order, at appropriate volume levels. And the great thing is, every DJ on our team is on the exact same page. It's in our nature to put the client first and focus on the vibes.

He may not look a day over 30, but this man has over 26 years of experience working as a professional DJ in Calgary, making him a true OG and a veteran on the turntables. From humble beginnings at roller rinks and nightclubs to full-scale fundraising galas and weddings, Chris has set the tone and lit up the dance floor countless of times for clients and guests of all backgrounds.

Over the years he has earned a reputation for his vast knowledge and musical wisdom, knowing what to play, and when to play it, to make the crowd go wild. He is completely at home behind the decks, with his vast array of handpicked songs ready to unleash at just the right time. This is his happy place, and the audience can tell.

Chris is a dedicated father, husband, and professional. During the weekdays he works as a health advisor for one of Canada's top companies. His success in this field translates well to his role as a DJ. His number one priority is the clients and their guests. He aims to please and he always succeeds. For him, DJing isn't work, it's fun. It's an opportunity to have a blast and make people happy. You can't help but share his joy when he's on the decks, doing what he loves.
