Amazing! I got married in August 2023, and during my planning I came across Octave Entertainment. I originally decided to go with this company based off the years of experience and glowing reviews Bob had online. After our first meeting discussing our wedding we quickly saw Bob's passion for music and his great personality!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and Bob played a huge part in that! He was our MC and DJ and I must say we had TONS of complements about Bob and his work. He kept everyone engaged, happy and having fun on and off the dance floor! We also had last minute changes (an additional speech to add in, and change of plans during the night) and it was flawless! He made sure to check with us if someone had a request or wanted to do something that wasn't in our schedule!

He puts a lot of work into making sure your day goes just how you want, with his easy to use website used for planning, timelines, and music!

Highly recommend if you are looking for a DJ/MC for a wedding or other events!

Bob was amazing from start to finish. He is professional and knowledgeable. He was great in the initial planning phase. His online platform is o easy to use. He was very responsive to any questions and was extremely helpful to this unsure bride about developing a timeline! He did an amazing job at our wedding. His work as an MC was perfect. He kept everything light and fun and really knew how to command the room. The dance floor was always full. People raved about him to us afterwards! He also really took the day in stride. We had a few delays and issues but he made it all work and adjusted his timeline accordingly. Hire him! You won’t be disappointed!

Bob DJ'd our wedding and also MC'd as well. He was so professional, but also friendly and approachable. I received a lot of compliments about the DJ. He made the night breeze by effortlessly, adhered to the timeline, kept things running smoothly. Much more value than a standard DJ. Music selection was very vast (including our French speaking family). The dance floor was never empty.

Bob was the perfect pick for our wedding! He listened to all of our requests, and made sure that the music he played was what we loved. Our friends and family are not huge dancers, but everyone was out on the dance floor the entire evening! Could not have picked a better DJ.

Bob was the DJ for our New Years Eve wedding in Kingston and he was absolutely incredible! Before the wedding, he was readily available if we had an questions, flexible with meeting times and locations, and was full of incredible advice on how we should lay out our reception timeline. The night of the wedding, he kept the dancefloor full all night with amazing music. We gave him a selection of about 50 requested songs, and from that he was able to perfectly anticipate the music we wanted to hear all night long! Bob is so friendly and easy to get along with, we're so happy we had him for our special day. 100% would recommend him to any of our friends and family.

I hired Bob for my October 7th 2017 outdoor country wedding and from the moment I talked to him on the phone I knew he would be professional and a great choice for us. The outdoor wedding in a tent and barn for the ceremony did not phase him at all. The meetings we had before the wedding went very smooth and Bob has so many great ideas to easy any brides anxiety about how the flow should go on their big day.

The day of the wedding went very smoothy and Bob was professional and got to the event early and had everything set up way before the event started. The day went off without a hitch and Bob really helped the flow of the wedding and reception.

We had Bob also be out MC and he was so good. During dinner when some of the tables were waiting to get there food he had the tables up dancing and competing to get to eat next which was so fun to watch. Who knew seeing some many people due YMCA during dinner would be such a fun experience. Bob catered all the music to my guests and we had the dance floor going all night. I saw family dancing that I had never seen dance before. As the night went on Bob even (at the request of my MOH) found a karaoke song on the fly for me to sing to have my spotlight moment for fun singing some Britany Spears. It was truly amazing and I will never forget that.

My guests were so impressed with Bob and the quality of his DJ services i keep hearing about it from them when I see them. I have been to many weddings and I have never has so much fun on the dance floor then at my own and I owe it all to Bob. He has a very special talent and I want everyone to book him because your wedding will be top notch and have your guest talking about it for month and maybe even years of how much fun they had dancing because Bob knows how to make sure everyone has a fun time.

You will not regret booking him. Out of anyone I booked for my wedding he is the one I will recommend the most because he is truly amazing at what he does and makes you special day even more special with amazing memories.

Our wedding was On September 24th, 2016 and it simply would not have been the same without Bob's phenomenal DJ and MC services! Bob was hands down the best "hiring" decision that we made for our wedding. Leading up to our big day, Bob met with us as many times as necessary (3 in our case). One of the meetings was at our venue (an hour and a half out of Ottawa) to talk logistics and to see the place. His incredible software not only helped us organize our music selections for our wedding; but it also helped us plan all other aspects (arrival and departure of all vendors, dinner service schedule, ceremony timing, order of speeches etc...) all from the comfort of our own home. Bob was always impeccably quick at responding to e-mails and phone calls and he put our minds completely at ease during the planning process.

On our wedding day its self, Bob was the first vendor to arrive and the last to leave. He arrived three hours prior to the ceremony to make sure that he was completely set up. The ceremony went off without a hitch and all songs transitioned effortlessly and subtly. Following the ceremony, Bob helped us plan and execute an awesome on the spot grand entrance for the parents, bridal party and bride and groom (us). He MC'd throughout dinner and made the evening fun, light and added many personal touches! After dinner and first dances, Bob got the party going and kept it that way! All of our "must plays" were played (at least once), our guests loved the music choices and everyone was on the dance floor until the end of the night!

It was a pleasure working with Bob for our wedding! From beginning to the end, he was always extremely responsive. His software helped us to keep organized with all the details of the wedding, which he went over carefully with us during the final meeting. There was a specific version of a song that I wanted to use during the ceremony, and Bob was able to find it, which was so appreciated.
