My wife and I were just married on September 1st 2018. When it came to book in the DJ we met with about four or five of them in the Kamloops area. From the very beginning it was clear that Brent had tons of experience because he came into the consultations with a lot of different ideas and obvious Knowledge from his years of experience. In the beginning that is what separating him from the rest. He's a very well-spoken articulate individual and he takes his business very seriously. He gave us a professional business card, a wedding planner, and even offered to m c our event if we needed him to. Like I said we were very impressed from the very beginning and each time he met with us things became more clear and he helped us resolve issues very quickly. On September 1st when the big day came I was very relieved that we had rent in our corner. We had discussed a very clear plan as to when he would set up and be ready for us at the ceremony, what music he would be playing in the background and he also offered suggestions for the signing of the document songs and professional as well as recessional. We showed up at the t r u Horticulture Gardens at 2 and Brent had already being set up and was playing background music for guests as they arrived. I had nothing to do except walk up the aisle and wait with my groomsmen at the front. After the ceremony he played songs for the signing of the document and the processional and then even played a few more songs as guests dissipated. When we were taking pictures Brent moved all of his equipment into the hall and got prepared for the reception. He was set up and ready for our grand entrance after we took pictures that afternoon. He did a wonderful job introducing the Bridesmaids, flower girl, ring bearer, groomsmen matron of honor and of course there was a pause before he finally introduced us as The Newlywed couple. The background music during dinner and cocktail hour set the pace for a wonderful evening. He was on cue when it came to the cake cutting, locate garter toss, and he played every single fun song that we wanted that night. For example when we ask him to play the bird dance for the kids and the Hokey Pokey he put them on right away. I could write a full story about how happy I am with his service but the bottom line is this guy is different than the rest in Kamloops. He has a full light show and a music selection that is unseen or or heard of. At the end of the day Brent professionalism, music selection, unbelievable light show and the fact that he had a full plan going into this event not only set us at ease for that day but it made an incredible night that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Great value for the service we booked. Everyone danced all night and shut down the dance floor. I liked that he requested everyone to come out for one last song and it was the song we danced too as Mrs and Mrs. I was told he was very good with playing individuals requests.
