The owner of VanDJCo, DJ Joe Pound, began his business in 2004 and has worked as a DJ for over 20 years. Joe is a versatile DJ having extensive knowledge of hip hop, house, electronic, rock, country, R&B, EDM, reggae, top 40 and the classics. Joe has played at every major nightclub and event venue in the lower mainland and has had a weekly residency at the renowned Roxy for over 16 years. The DJ has entertained audiences at Red Bull events since 2004 and worked at the Irish Pavilion during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. With infinite experience under his belt, Joe never shies away from a crowd and is sure to provide couples with an event to remember.
Services Offered
The Vancouver DJ Company - VanDJCo offers initial consultations to understand a couple's needs before the event. Available equipment includes a top-of-the-line QSC sound system, Chauvet and American DJ lighting, microphones, and a song catalogue with over 150,000 songs spanning seven decades. The disc jockeys also offer LED uplighting, a DJ booth, Table Top Facade, extra speakers and subwoofers.

Meet the team
Owner of The Vancouver DJ Company, DJ Joe Pound began his business back in 2004 but has been working professionally as a DJ for 22 years.
He has current residency at the Roxy (15 years), winter residency at Longhorn Saloon in Whistler and Imperial for their Corporate Events. He has worked with Red Bull Canada for their events since 2004, including most recently Crankworx Joy Ride 2019. He had residency at what was previously known as The Cellar for 12 years. He was also the DJ for the Irish Pavilion during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.
His incredibly versatile selection of music gives him the ability to entertain a wide variety of clients covering all genres from Classical, Jazz to R&B/Soul to Top 40, Oldies, Rock, Hip Hop, Pop, Electronic, House, International and Country make him a great fit for any event, party or celebration.
