If you are looking for a DJ who can bring the room to life and keep the party going LOOK NO FURTHER! Samir was absolutely pivotal in making our wedding the party that we dreamed of. Samir is NOT your typical wedding DJ, Samir belongs in a club! He started amping up the energy as dinner went on, he read the room at an expert level, mixed tracks together and kept the dance floor full for the entire night. Our guests were complaining that the music was so good they didn't want to leave the dance floor to get a drink. He was an engaging emcee and was so good at communicating with us throughout the night to keep us on track, without imposing or interrupting. My spouse and I were beyond impressed! Thank you Samir for helping to make our wedding day the most incredible one of our lives! It's been several days since our wedding and our guests are still calling us to say how amazing the DJ was. If you have family and friends that love a high energy atmosphere and are down to party with you, you will be sorry if you don't hire Samir to be at your event!

Samir was really great for our DJ. He worked with our budget. He made our guests have so much fun with the music he played. We definitely recommend him to be your event DJ. He was a great MC and he played music that everyone enjoyed and followed the vibe of the room, which is so important.

DJ Samir was amazing. We hired him for our wedding in August and we were so happy that we did. He played great music to the crowd, but also gave us lots of advice and made sure everything ran smoothly. Samir was an amazing DJ! He was incredibly professional, responsive, a great MC, and (most importantly) he kept the party alive!

We had Samir, and for the most part he was very flexible and accommodating and I had thought he understood what we wanted, but the service delivery was very disappointing.
Let me clarify, the music was great. We had some last minute changes to the music that he missed, but it was less than 24hrs before the reception so I can understand this. What I was extremely disappointed about was he started playing the music way later than we had told him too despite me communicating and him verbally acknowledging how important it was to get the party going earlier. He didn't do any of the games we spoke about, and worst of all, he said he was going to cut the service short because people stopped dancing around 11pm. And Yes, people took a break, but we were on an off the dance floor and many people were on the venue patio and could still hear and enjoy the music. My fault is that I wasn't as assertive as I should have been, I did ask him to stay longer to see, but I should have told him that he needed to continue until the time we agreed upon because that's what we paid for. He stayed for another 30m then left. Again, I should have said something, but I've never heard of a dj doing this and I was very clear about our vision for the music. I'm still quite sour about this. Communication was good leading up to the event, but the service delivery was not what we discussed.

From our initial meeting, we knew Mixmaster Samir would be our choice to DJ/Emcee our wedding. He was thorough, detail-oriented, responsive and listened and answered all our questions throughout our wedding process. He was flexible with all the changes and offered helpful suggestions with our music choices. During our reception, you can tell he's constantly reading the room to see how the guests are and he worked wonderfully with our wedding coordinator. Music and mixes were amazing, he took in all music requests graciously, perfect emcee, and he kept the dancefloor going right until closing! Thanks so much Samir. We hired DJ Samir for our wedding on August 27 and we were lucky enough to be able to have dancing at our wedding. We didn't go wrong with DJ Samir because he knew exactly how to keep the crowd entertained and knew how to hype up the dancefloor.
