I connected with Melanie at Memories Bridal in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. My fiance and I had just gotten engaged at Christmas 2020, and were looking to pull together a wedding for this past summer 2021. In the best of times, anyone will tell you that finding a wedding dress in 6 months' time would be a challenge - compound that with lockdowns and mandatory stay-at-home orders... our chances weren't good. That's where Melanie came in. Of all the dozens upon dozens of wedding dress boutiques I contacted in Ontario, she came through! I still remember her detailed e-mails, full of options. She really listened and in the end, was able to connect me through her network of contacts to a new Toronto-based designer, who fitted me with the most beautiful couture gown - truly my dream dress. Melanie is an absolute delight to work with. I had two days to buy a dress before the lockdown went into effect and Melanie had the experience both pleasant and easy. I ended up buying a gown off the rack, but it was in pristine condition and looked brand new. She takes care of her guests, dresses, and makes her clients feel like a princess.

Memories shop is so beautiful, and I can't wait to wear my "hand made in Canada dress" dress! Mostly though, I was so impressed by the experience as a whole. I had been to two other shops prior, and neither of them even came close to how Melanie makes you feel. You are one on one with her in the shop, she is so personable and knowledgeable. When I chose my dress, she celebrated as much as we did. Going to recommend that all my friends go to her when it's their turn! This for sure will be one of my greatest "memories" of wedding prep, thanks Melanie!

Words can’t describe how amazing this boutique is! They had so many gorgeous and unique dresses to choose from! And the experience was so personal with it being such a small store! It was one on one the entire time and it made me feel like I was actually being heard and not rushed out the door! Melanie was amazing throughout the experience. I went to my first dress appointment at Memories and it was such a lovely experience.

To set-up the appointment, Melanie and I thoroughly discussed what I was looking for and budget so she had an idea before the appointment and could prepare. Upon arrival, all the COVID protocols were followed and Melanie was very thorough. She was patient and very flexible. I cannot say enough positive things about this appointment. I would highly recommend anyone to go to Memories Bridal -- Melanie is very knowledgeable and has a beautiful selection of dresses.

I started the wedding dress shopping journey with absolutely NO CLUE what I wanted. I had scoured dozens of magazines, scrolled Pinterest, scrolled different bridal websites and could never find a dress I liked. The only thing I knew, was I wanted something unique. I stumbled upon Memories through a coworker, and knew I wanted to go there first. The website was very user friendly, and I liked that I had the opportunity to look at some of the options, prior to contacting Melanie.

Melanie was amazing from start to finish. She was very flexible with appointments times, very prompt with her responses, and very thorough in her questions prior to my appointment.

During my appointment, Melanie was very attentive to me and all of the ladies I brought with me. She was a Waltham if knowledge about all the different silhouette options, and fabrics and materials, and (for someone who knows nothing) it was very appreciated. I felt like she was actually listening to my feedback, and genuinely wanted me to have something I loved. She did not pressure me or make me feel “guilty” at all for wanting to shop around, and was extremely welcoming when I returned for a second appointment,

One thing I can confidently say is: I went dress shopping multiple places. No other place made me feel as welcome and as appreciated as Memories did, and no other dress shop that I visited had the same quality of product and customer service as Memories.

I would highly recommend all brides check this place out. I genuinely think all bodies and budgets could be accommodated there!
