Great experience wedding dress shopping!
Boutique experience
I never had a "cry because this is my dress" moment, but I am very happy with my purchase. We tried a new dress during my last visit and with a clever suggestion from the staff we added a beautiful skirt, which gave me both vibes I wanted.
I had no issues with pickup of the dress and everything came in on time. We handled the alterations ourselves, but S&B offered a set of suggested vendors.

Must stop shop in Toronto
I've been looking for something unique and comfortable and not many other shops offered that. The dresses at S+B were so much softer and more comfortable than other shops I visited while still within budget.
Lovely experience
My dress came on time three and a half months later and I took my mom to pick it up. She has bad knees and when she made a comment about worrying how slow she would be going up the stairs, they put us on a first floor changeroom. They take pictures of you after you choose your dress and again after you pick it up, for social media. The dress came with a really sweet message from the store that will look lovely in pictures. All in all it was a great experience and the customer service was excellent.

Meet the team
I studied Business Management at Conestoga College and Ryerson University. In addition to my extensive education, I invested 11 years in the hospitality industry, filling roles from entry level to management. After working with more than 75 brides to plan and execute their weddings, I earned that this overwhelming task is much more enjoyable when the people assisting you are friendly, realistic, and down to earth – and that’s the philosophy I bring to Sash & Bustle. While much of my work happens behind the scenes making the store's operations run seamlessly, I make it a priority to meet each and every bride. I'm like the Sash & Bustle momma bear, helping ensure that each stylist is supported in providing the one-on-one, attentive service we stand for. When I got married I wore one of my favourite Canadian designers Truvelle for my special day. My husband Dillon couldn’t hold his happy tears back.
My love of art and design began at a young age and eventually led me to study at Ryerson University’s School of Fashion. As a student, I was recognized with several awards. My designs were the People’s Choice Winner in the 2013 Toronto Art of Fashion competition and I even had a leather jacket design chosen to be produced by Danier. I bring my aesthetic gifts to creating a strong visual identity for Sash & Bustle. While managing the shopping experience and buying with my sister, I also oversee the store’s social media and creation of our visual advertisements. I recently became a Sash & Bustle bride myself when I married my high school sweetheart, Eric, wearing an incredible Carol Hannah gown.

I love the collaborative aspect of it. Working together with the bride to find what works for them and hopefully their dream dress! Forewarning- if there's crying when the bride says yes, I'll cry too.

- WHEN YOU'RE NOT KILLING IT AT S+B WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
When I’m not at S+B, I’m either thrifting or cooking. I love to try new recipes and make fun cocktails. I also love to thrift vintage housewares and share them with others through my little shop.
