The staff was very open on the phone about the starting price of the dresses (out of my budget), however I was encouraged to pop in any time I'm in the area to take a peek at their sample rack as they have a wide range of prices and sizes. Being a Bridal Size 14, I didn't expect much going in, however they did have some in my size, one of which was only $500! However, I just couldn't commit. The staff didn't make me feel bad for not purchasing anything, or for having a small budget. They were so friendly and helpful and let me walk all over the store in the dress. If I had a bigger budget, I would definitely consider buying from them, and if I don't get a dress before the text time I'm in Victoria, I'll be popping in to check out the sales rack :)

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and patient from start to finish. While my sister did not end up finding the right dress for her here, I would 100% recommend this wedding dress store!! There was also a very good price range for the dresses for lower to higher and the dresses were beautiful!

The bridal shop is absolutely beautiful from the moment you walk in and whole experience only goes up from there! They carry a smaller selection of dresses but they are absolutely beautiful and I love that they operate by appointment only. I had such an amazing experience with The White Peony. All of their dresses are so amazing. I went to the White Peony because they carried Truvelle dresses. I wanted to try on a particular dress. They didn't carry it but encouraged me to try on Truvelles with similar fits. I still wanted to try on the actual dress so they told me about the Trunk show and ensured they followed up with me to let me know the dress I wanted to try on would in fact be there. As well, during my first appointment a girl came back to buy the sample I was wearing-I was seriously considering ordering the dress and was taking time to look at it. It was an awkward situation but the staff handled it well assuring me that it was my appointment and I did not have to rush. Everyone was so sweet and friendly!

So so happy I purchased my dress here!

The White Peony gave me the best bridal experience. I could not have imagined a more enjoyable, professional, and memorable wedding dress shopping experience. I fell in love with everything at The White Peony...the beautifully decorated boutique, the sparkling chandelier, the gorgeous dresses and most of all Trish. She is a girl you fall in love with the moment you meet her. She made my family and I feel at ease was so warm and helpful. I'm so happy to have said yes to my dress at such a fantastic bridal store. I found all my accessories there too! Can't say enough good things about this beautiful shop!

The White Peony has the perfect atmosphere to shop for a wedding gown and carries amazing designers that make you feel beautiful. Trish was such a sweetheart and made it a breeze finding the perfect wedding gown for my special day. I am so happy that they carry Katie May gowns and I was able to fall in love with not only my husband-to-be but the gown I would wear on my wedding day. If you are looking for a wedding gown that makes you look and feel amazing then you have to stop by this lovely bridal boutique and experience it for yourself!

I had an exceptional experience at The White Peony bridal boutique. I was visiting Victoria for the weekend, and popped into to have a quick look with my sister. I wanted to try on every dress I saw and the price range was reasonable for me (the majority fall between $1900-$2400). I knew I wanted to try gowns on here and lucky for me, they had one spot available the next day. I booked the appointment and came back with my sister and her two kids, both of who were welcomed and treated well during my fitting. One of the sisters who own the charming White Peony, Trish, was my consultant. We started by chatting briefly about what kind of dress I saw myself wearing and my wedding venue, which was very similar to the store with its high ceilings, exposed brick and vintage chandelier. The store is beautiful, it is well maintained and clean and the sample dresses are in great condition.
I selected a six dresses that looked interesting and started trying them on. Trish was warm, thoughtful and accommodating. She listened to the things I liked about each dress I tried on. She was honest and said that I didn’t need to try on one of the samples I had selected as she thought it wouldn’t be right for me. She suggested that I try one more dress from the designer who made the dress I like the most, Truvelle. If you don’t know the line look! The designer is 22, from Vancouver and is extremely talented.
I loved the dress Trish recommended, it incorporated everything I liked about all the dress I had tried on. She listened to what I wanted, knew her dress selection and knew what would look nice on me. I got unexpectedly emotional when I knew the dress was 'the one.' Trish was genuinely happy and excited. It was so easy for me to say yes after the amazing experience. I can’t wait to have it in a few months!
I would recommend anyone to go to The White Peony to look for their dress and or wedding accessories.

Trish at the White Peony has been wonderful to deal with throughout the process of purchasing my wedding dress! It only took one appointment to find my dress and despite not saying yes that day, everything was handled just as easily over the phone and answers any questions I have over email promptly. I can't wait to pick up my dress!
