Farmer

I'm a flower (and organic vegetable) farmer.

In addition to selling bulk buckets of flowers for DIY wedding flowers, I also create bouquets using the seasonal flowers we harvest at the farm to sell at the Dieppe Market in Dieppe, NB every Saturday from April to November.

I love flowers (and plants in general) and I also love how they positively influence the ecosystem on and around the farm. I love watching Monarchs grow from caterpillars to become butterflies on the Swamp Milkweed we plant.

Before I started farming, I studied nutrition. Health is so important to me. So, we never use any pesticides on our farm (including organic approved ones) and our flowers are safe to hold, sniff, and compost when you're done with them (to fulfill their cycle of life).

I love the beauty that flowers add to our farm.

I really enjoy planting and harvesting the flowers we grow, as well as conditioning them according to their unique requirements so that each flower can remain as beautiful as possible in the vase.

Sometimes I think we grow too many different varieties (over 200!), but once they starte blooming, I'm always glad we grew each one.
