Horrible experience

Despite all her amazing ratings Andie has on her profile, we did not have a similar experience when working with Andie.

Working with Andie was very tough from the design stage through to our actual wedding day. She expects 100% trust in her and will tell you that she sells a vision, not specific flowers. Given this, she absolutely refuses to give you any information about what flowers you have purchased, even after the order is placed and will not provide a mock up of what your flowers will look like. Conceptually, this could work if she put the effort in to properly understand that her vision aligns with yours. Unfortunately, she doesn’t actually ask questions to make sure her vision will achieve what you have communicated to her. Instead, she responds negatively and dismissively to requests to communicate her own vision, then stubbornly pushes that vision even if you communicate a discrepancy in understanding after she asks questions that makes it clear she has missed the mark.

In advance of ordering, she does not ask and is not interested to know if there are any flowers you really don’t like in her plans. Instead, she will send you a giant list of flower you could have, and if told directly there is a flower you don’t want among them, will ignore you if she personally likes the flower type you request not to have, order them anyway, and in our case, make your arrangements almost entirely with them.

While our flowers were objectively well put together, we did not like the arrangements we received on our wedding day, and quite honestly, the delivery of my bridal bouquet put a huge damper in our getting ready as I did not like it and it was the first time I saw what my floral would look like. It left fear for what was to come. We specifically communicated that we are not fans of roses, however my bridal bouquet was around 80% made up of roses. And even worse, when we got to our wedding, our archway, the arrangement that will be seen in all our ceremony photos, was even worse. It was almost 90% roses and was traditional in style when we specifically advised we did not want a traditional style in writing. As requested by Andie, we put all our trust in her, but were broken hearted and disappointed about the flowers we received. At the end of the night, we couldn’t wait to throw out all the flowers.

Andie specified that she would order us what was available during this busy time due to Covid, therefore I believe would blame her inability to meet expectations on Covid, stating that roses were only available at the time. However, we follow other local florists in the area that have delivered beautiful alternatives in this same week, therefore this excuse would be untrue.

Finally, Andie is also uncollaborative. She refused to collaborate with our super friendly decorator, who offered to connect with her to ensure their visions worked well together.

My biggest recommendation - if you care about and are excited to know what your floral will look like in advance of your big day, if you don’t want walk into your wedding blind to what your floral will look like, and if don’t want to be sorely heartbroken by your florals on your wedding day, I would strongly recommend not working with Andie. Overall it seems like she is very protective of her own interests, overly cocky that her vision is the right way to proceed (even if it doesn’t match her clients) and not at all concerned about the importance of her client’s wedding day to them. She needs to learn to improve her communication and collaboration, lose her ego at the door, and remember that her own personal preferences are not important but that her paying clients are, if she wants to work in this very special industry and share this very special moment with couples.

Wonderful!

Andie was a delight to work with for our wedding. She helped us work within our budget to help with the lovely floral arrangements for our wedding. Andie is very creative and talented at what she does. I absolutely loved my bouquet and the beautiful Trellis arrangement she put together on the spot. Our centrepieces were lovely and we can’t thank her enough for her professionalism throughout the entire process. Thank you Andie!

Amazing Expertise and Great Attention to Detail

I can't rave enough about my wedding flowers from Andie! She's an incredibly talented person with great creativity. Andie was open-minded with my choice of simple greenery and baby's breath and flexible with my budget. She took the time to discuss and share pictures to get a better sense of what I was looking. On the day of my wedding, Andie setup my centrepieces and made sure they tied in perfectly with my flowers and greenery. With an outdoor ceremony under a blazing sun, on the hottest day of the summer might I add, Andie timed the setup of my ceremony flowers to make sure they stayed looking fresh and vibrant throughout the ceremony and pictures. My guests were blown away by how beautiful everything came together. I can't recommend Andie enough! Thank you so much!

Stunning Arrangement From A Collaborative Flourist

I'll begin by telling you, there's going to be a lot of praise in this review. Andie did an amazing job at assembling what I would honestly call the most beautiful bouquet of flowers that I've ever laid eyes on. All of her other reviews are true. Andie is super collaborative. I sent her maybe 10 pictures of bouquets I liked, not really knowing what I wanted. I also just wanted someone who could get a sense of what I liked and put something great together, and Andie definitely delivered. I had a small wedding, so I ordered my bouquet, boutonnieres, and wristlet corsages. We went back and forth a couple of times on which flowers to include, but from her first proposal, she was pretty much spot on. I was also hoping to have anemones, which she told me were almost out of season and that she couldn't promise me that she could get them. After that discussion, I let that idea go, and was completely stunned when I got the bouquet and boutonnieres because there they were! It was such a beautiful and unexpected surprise. In addition, I had a budget that I wanted to stick within and Andie helped me get to an arrangement that I was comfortable with. One of the things we modified was the size of my bouquet, making it smaller. Honestly, it ended up just the perfect size for me. Larger would have been unnecessary and not very functional.

After the wedding, I had the flowers by my bedside every day because literally I just want to see them before I went to bed and every day when I wake up because they are just so beautiful. We had also booked a cottage weekend with friends after the wedding and I took them with me because I couldn't imagine having such a beautiful arrangement in our house without anyone to enjoy them for three days.

Andie - Thank you for working with me to find a solution that not only worked within my budget, but that had all of the elements that I was looking for. It's no word of a lie that I look at these flowers every day and am moved to tears at just how beautiful they are. I've told my husband that I'm reordering this same bouquet every year on our anniversary because it literally makes me that happy - which I never thought a bouquet of flowers would do. Thank you so much for creating such beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages that everyone loved, and that became an important and meaningful part of our day.

Beautiful flowers and great service :)

Meeting Andie was a breath of fresh air, she was professional and so knowledgable (Prior to meeting Andie, I had met with two other florists and was unimpressed. I guess its true what they say, third time is a charm). Andie was great to work with from beginning to end. I can't tell you what a relief it was to have a vendor who did not try to up-sell us at every opportunity, instead she gave suggestions and recommendations to make our vision work within our budget.
Andie worked tirelessly covering a wooden arbour with big white blooms and greenery for our big day (which was moved from the ceremony to the reception and stayed completely intact-- a testament to her hard work and precision).

I would highly recommend her as your wedding day florist as she will not disappoint. Leading up to the day she emailed me inspo pictures for each floral feature we had discussed to make sure she created exactly what I had envisioned.
She was professional, kind, creative and overall a pleasure to work with!

Andrea was absolutely amazing! My husband and I had very little idea what flowers we wanted for our big day. Andrea was so patient and helpful throughout the whole process! She took so much of the stress of planning away. At my wedding, I received so many compliments on our floral arrangements and bouquets. It was perfect!

Words cannot describe the incredible talent shown by Andie. Our flowers were absolutely stunning! We have had many of our guests comment on how beautiful our arrangements were. The flowers and colours were exactly what I had envisioned.

When I began planning our wedding, I emailed Andrea and have a response very quickly (within a day at the most). She responded giving me price ranges, ideas and lots of questions to get to know what we wanted for our wedding. I really didn't know what I wanted other than what flowers I didn't like and a vague idea of colours. Andrea was able to help guide me to making decisions and had PLENTY of ideas of what she thought would look good. She emailed me a write up of what she planned to do and a few sample pictures.

On the wedding day when she came to deliver our flowers, the bouquets, boutonnières, and centrepieces she created were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. She completely captured what we were looking for in her beautiful designs.
