located on Gabriola Island in British Columbia, Just Another Weed Patch Farm is family owned and operated. The family business specialized in organic and eco-friendly flowers and plants. The company has been in operation since April of 2012. Just Another Weed Patch started as a 19 month agroforestry business. The 2 acre pasture quickly became a farm of over 250 nut trees as well as flowers, hens, bees, sheep, and alley food. Choose wedding flowers with a story! Their family farm grows over 100 varieties of specialty annuals, perennials and woody stems for weddings and other special events.

Grown sustainably on Gabriola Island they create lush, wild and romantic floral products including floral crowns, bouquets, boutionnieres, corsages, centrepieces, garlands and arbor installations. The services offered include set up, clean up and delivery.

Island Wedding of Our Dreams

So thrilled with how our wedding florals turned out. I was a bit indecisive, but the vendor was always flexible and easygoing. It was a bit tough planning a wedding in a pandemic and also not being physically close to any of the vendors. Everything turned out better than expected. I was almost in tears when we had to cut down the archway greenery. It was stunning. This vendor is very affordable for wedding flowers and I LOVE that everything is grown on the island.

Wildflowers galore!

I was so amazed by the quality and the service with Sonja from Just Another Weed Patch Farm. They installed greenery on the staircase just as I requested and it looked phenomenal! Also I was blown away by all the centerpieces, the bouquets, the boutennieres and the corsages. The final touch was a sprig of rosemary in each table setting. Just incredible! Thank you Weed Patch Farm!

Absolutely breathtaking

These were the star of my wedding. I can’t say enough about these flowers but they were just gorgeous. I somehow don’t have many pictures but they were show stopping. Way beyond anything I could have pictured in my head. The pictures I have don’t do them justice

Contacting Sonja was the best choice I made in organizing my wedding. She was quick in replying to every call I made and was generous with her time and ideas. Sonja is a delightful and knowledgeable person as well as a passionate gardener. Just Another Weed Patch grows flowers of every colour and texture but you will not find the blooms typical of florists' shops. If you wish to have unique, beautiful, healthy flowers--no nasty chemicals used in their production-- at your wedding, I recommend you contact Just Another Weed Patch.

The flowers were one of my favourite parts of our wedding details. They were beautiful and creative! I loved the colours and variety of flowers they used in my bouquets, centrepieces, and hair pieces!
