Experience

Joanna has a Masters Of Teaching degree from the University of Calgary and a floral design certification from Mount Royal University. She also trained for a year with an accredited floral designer from AIFD (American Institute of Floral Designers). Joanna opened her own floral business in 2011. She has also worked with Calgary’s fashion, lifestyle, and home design experts and events, with the media, and with charity organizations. Some of her clients include Louis Vuitton, John Fluevog, Western Living Magazine. Various wedding and event venues have also featured Lil Pink Daisy Florals- floral arrangements, including Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff, Fairmont Palliser in Calgary, the Rimrock Resort Hotel in Banff, Malcolm Hotel in Canmore and the Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant (Fish Creek Park) in Calgary. Joanna has shared her floral passion talents on BTV, Global Television, in Avenue Magazine as well featured in Weddingbells Magazine and numerous publications.
