Originally I wanted to be a DIY bride for literally everything, I thought my vision was clear and I knew exactly what I wanted. Turns out its a LOT harder than I thought, and I'm a crafty gal. After MANY failed attempts at bouquets, wasted flowers, tears and frustration on the night before my wedding, my mom took charge and called Emily without me knowing. Back then, Emily was a flower farmer who offered market bouquets and was not a wedding florist (yet). We knew each other through vendor markets, both being small business owners in a small town and we were close but were still in the early months of true friendship. She dropped everything that night and literally came to rescue me. I really mean rescue me, I was found sitting alone, crying on the front porch of my parents house, covered in sap, sweat and mascara. After a warm smile and a big hug, she had my bridal party and I help build bouquets in no time. I really needed her expertise on getting my vision more concise as my colour pallet didn't flow with the theme as well as I thought and all the flowers I chose didn't look the greatest matched up when they were altogether, it was too busy and not bridal. But she excluded of a few things that were eye sores and made everything look so beautiful, you'd never know that it was a legit disaster less than 24 hours before. She was a wedding guest the next day to begin with, but came early to help with set up of the flower arrangements on the tables and aisle. I am so grateful for Emily, then and now. Emily is excellent at helping you perfect your vision, make adjustments based on budget and works with you as the bride. I've gotten to watch her blossom into her art of doing weddings and it's truly remarkable what she can create. Don't make the mistake I did, hire a florist and if I have any influence, hire Emily. The best wedding florist I could have asked for!
Emily was the best florist I could have asked for on my wedding day! She was so helpful and offered delivery services between where my husband and his groomsmen were getting ready at our house, to the hotel room where me and my bridesmaids were getting ready, to our ceremony space and then to our reception space. I really didn't have to worry about anything during the day! She was so helpful during the consultation process and took my vision and turned it into something even better than I could have imaged! I would 1000% recommend Mapleton Acres to anyone in need of a wedding florist. -

5 stars are not enough to rate our experience with Emily at Mapleton Acres. The flowers were absolutely perfect, better than I imagined. Emily's artistic judgment produced a stunning array of seasonal flowers in our chosen colour palette. We decided on relatively limited florals for our wedding - just the personals (bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, flower girl petals), and some bud vases for the tables at the reception with 1-2 blooms each. We didn't get arches, aisle flowers, backdrops, anything like that. And yet even with relatively few florals, their impact was truly stunning, which speaks to Emily's skill and artistic judgment. The service was very reasonably priced; not cheap but certainly good value. The delivery and setup service was also very reasonably priced, which meant one less task that we and our wedding party had to do ourselves. A couple of days after our wedding we visited Emily at the farm to return the bud vases we had rented, so we had the opportunity to thank her in person. She very kindly let us wander the field and cut ourselves a bouquet; such a beautiful and relaxing experience after the hustle and bustle of the wedding. In short, we highly recommend Mapleton Acres and we were so grateful for their beautiful work. -

Emily did an amazing job bringing my wedding flower vision to life. The wedding party bouquets and boutonniere were gorgeous and everything I could have ever hoped for and the chapel and reception flower decor was perfect. Emily is such a kind and cheery person who's passion for her work is evident. -

The best vendor experience
We had the most amazing experience with Emily and are so grateful that we chose Mapleton Acres for our florals for our wedding. We decided to give Emily free range for designing all of the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. All of the florals exceeded our expectations! They were all so stunning. I've added a few photos we took during the day, but they aren't as good as what the photographers likely captured. Also, when my bouquet was dropped off at the bouquet preservation person the day after the wedding, they said it was the best quality of flowers they've ever seen. Wonderful Fresh Local Flowers
