Still swooning

We absolutely loved working with Patchouli. From day 1 sitting in their cute shop chatting about the vision, right through the difficult decision to postpone our wedding, they were so easy to work with. Though our wedding was during covid, we still had our ceremony for just 8 of us (with plans to have a reception in 2021). Patchouli made our small ceremony feel super special with our bouquet, boutonnières and arrangements. Since we are still planning to have a reception, we went with a totally different colour pallet for our ceremony. I told them a few flowers I loved, didn't love, and that I wanted corals and hints of black and they certainly did exactly that and blew me away. They made the day! I am STILL swooning over them! The style is exactly what I wanted - artistic, asymmetrical and freaking stunning!

The team at Patchouli took care of our wedding bouquets, boutonnieres and floral arrangements. I had an initial discussion with Dayna on the team, who made notes on my favourite flowers and colors. They were very flexible in working within our budget and delivering a beautiful arbour too, which other florists were quoting at a higher price to us. On the day of the wedding, both the bouquets and the boutonnieres were delivered right on time to the two different locations we had specified. They were beautiful and exactly what I had asked for.

The venue set-up was even more beautiful. They transformed our venue (Archeo) into an even more intimate space. The flower arrangements were delicate and gorgeous and the pillar candles they set really warmed up the place. Dayna even managed to bring me some taller additional pillar candles as a back up plan in case we had to move the ceremony inside (which we did). They managed the curveballs of the day amazingly (moving the arbour inside and creating a beautiful ceremony space in very little time) and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for any events I may have.

Wedding at Archeo

AMAZING! I couldn’t be happier with my flowers and I received constant complements the whole evening from my guests! My inspiration was eclectic chic and they were extremely responsive and gave so many wonderful suggestions and ideas of inspiration. I could go on forever but just saying - if you’re looking for flowers, look no further!

Patchouli Design is an amazingly talented new face in Toronto's florist arena. Snatch there services up quick before they get too busy!!!
Alex came highly recommended to me by a friend after I had experienced several underwhelming and overpriced appointment with potential wedding florists. Once I Had my first meeting with Alex - one of Patchouli's talented designers - I was immediately convinced that she was the perfect fit! I was so enamored by her work that I eventually gave her creative control of all flowers and simply provided our color scheme and a Pinterest board of inspiration. The result - I could not have been happier with our wedding flowers - they were stunning. When I first saw my bridal bouquet I was breathless and brought to tears, Alex had brought all of my requests together to create the most beautiful bouquet! The bridesmaids bouquets were done with the same attention to detail and beauty. The flowers used played to my personality and also to the design of my dress. They were the perfect compliment to our day.
I would recommend Patchouli design to anyone looking for an exquisite and refreshing florist. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and I look forward to ordering some fresh bouquets for our home!

I wasn't quite sure what I wanted for flowers, so I briefly described to Laura the style I was after, showed her some photos of our attire and went over the general colour scheme. With very little direction from the bride, she was able to capture the style, the look and the size and the bouquets I was after. She was very professional and a pleasure to work with. And of course, she was right on time for everything! I will absolutely be recommending Patchouli to any bride-to-be that I come across! Thanks Laura and Alex!

I wish so much that I had taken these negative reviews more seriously. The flowers that were delivered to my wedding were also wilted and browning. It was not a hot day or week so the only rational was that they used old, dying flowers. The bouquet, centerpieces and ceremony arrangements were also missing many of the flower types and colours that we discussed. It was such a disappointment and given the prices they charge completely unacceptable. There are so many excellent florists in the GTA who pride themselves on the beauty and quality of their work. Look elsewhere!

The flowers that Patchouli design delivered for my wedding were a complete disappointment. 1. They failed to deliver multiple items that were paid and contracted for. 2. The bouquet (photo attached) was horrendous, not what was discussed or represented on their website/instagram and clearly useable. 3. Many of the colours and flower types contracted for were not in the bouquet or centerpieces. The vast majority of flowers were roses and white and grey, which was specifically requested NOT be in any of the arrangements or bouquet. 4. Many flowers in the arrangements, corsages etc. were small, wilted and/or browning (see photo), not reflecting the quality of flowers advertised on their website/instagram. 5. The owner admitted that an independent contractor worked on my order, who they blamed for the missing items and said was unacceptable. What was unacceptable was the fact that an independent contractor worked on the order in the first place! The problems with the flowers compromised other aspects of our wedding, such as our photos. Simply careless and unprofessional.

I was really disappointed with the arrangements that were provided at our ceremony.
They were the biggest expense of 2 large bouquets and they looked like dead and wilted weeds pulled from the garden. My vision was romantic, garden themed but I was sadly disappointed in the quality of the greenery for the price. I have actual photos of the fallen arrangements with dead/wilted greenery I wasn't able to attach!
