In addition to the signature scented relaxing waiting room and exclusive roof-top patio – this Day Spa offers more than 50 different spa services along with an all-new blow dry bar. The spa is most well-known for its array of award-winning signature services, which include Permanent makeup, Eyelash extensions, Facials and Barrie’s best Mani’s & Pedi’s. Glow has created a space that is elevated and upscale - yet cozy and not stuffy. An inviting space for their guests to feel at home while they unwind and relax upon entering.

Owner & Founder Kimberly Crook was looking forward to completing the full spa & beauty experience by adding the new Blow Dry Bar. Kim had a clear and creative vision for the Blow Dry Bar to be different from the Spa interior design and atmosphere. Kim’s experiences from travelling to different cities around the world collided to get the perfect mix of design that is both welcoming and rejuvenating. Her vision has now come to fruition including Barrie’s first ever exclusive Blow Dry Bar with a Spa twist! “It’s like a facial for you head” with each custom shampoo incorporating a relaxing scalp massage, lavender eye pillow and hot towels to ensure the entire experience is relaxing.

Custom designed salon and spa furniture was sourced and procured from multiple sources around the world with shampoo basins that allow you to lay down. The café bar counter in the Blow dry bar was also custom designed and built specifically for the space to create a trendy, open concept element, and encourage socialization and less staring in the mirror.

“Overall, it’s been incredible seeing the vision come to life,” says Kimberly Crook. “The Blow dry bar flows and compliments the spa so nicely. Our clients are loving it and we are already getting so many new clients and brides because of the Blow dry bar and all it has to offer.

GLOW is expanding the Café to offer more fun food options to better cater to guests while they enjoy their time at the Spa. Glow Day Spa & Blow Dry Bar is the perfect destination for bridal and wedding parties looking for one place to get everything done under one-roof. They even offer a professional photography pass so the space can be used for “getting ready” photos. It’s simply amazing and a dream come true for a lot of brides in Barrie and the surrounding areas. Bridal parties can enjoy Mimosas, Champagne toasts and upscale Charcuterie boards and Horderves while they prepare for their special day.
