Miranda was so sweet, kind, professional, and is a highly experienced hair stylist! She made my vision come to life and was extremely familiar with putting my extensions in. She is such a pro and did hair for myself, 4 bridesmaids, and 2 junior bridesmaids so fast but not rushed at all. We received many compliments on the day of!

Miranda is the sweetest and brought so much fun energy and kindness while helping us get ready! My hair (which never holds curl) lasted all night, even in the humidity!

I discovered Miranda through instagram and loved that she has worked with my natural curly texture in photo shoots. I contacted her early on, and she was very flexible, especially when I had to change things up due to the pandemic. We did a hair trial first and Miranda was so easy to work with, trying out different styles and putting my fears to ease! She is a mobile service which makes things SO easy for the bride with lots on her plate. On the day of, Miranda did my hair, along with 8 bridesmaids and two mom’s. She managed to do this all well within the time frame, and everyone looked SO stunning. I was so happy with my hair, and my experience. Thank you Miranda!

Miranda from Mslay was an absolute dream hair stylist to have for my not one, but TWO wedding days! I had a different hair style each day and I left it up to her to style my hair based on my dresses and makeup and what would suit my thin hair best. Not only did she make me feel absolutely stunning, but she made my 4 bridesmaids look so beautiful and special for my wedding too! Miranda is so so so kindhearted and professional. She showed up bright and early to my wedding mornings both days and got me so hyped up for my day! I could never trust anyone else with my hair. I recommend her 100% to absolutely any bride!

Miranda was the absolute best choice for my bridal and bridal party hair. She is extremely friendly and easy to talk to and also amazing at what she does. She got everyone’s hair done really quickly and everyone loved her work. Would 100% recommend her to anyone.

Miranda had done an excellent job getting my bridesmaids and moms ready for our wedding. She was always very nice and professional to work with. Her makeup artist recommendation was also perfect!

It feels almost inappropriate to review Miranda as she cancelled on me 48 hours prior to my wedding. She emailed me to tell me that she had an “urgent opportunity with her full time job” that she was unable to move. I can appreciate that these bumps happen but receiving an email 48 hours prior was certainly disappointing, to put it mildly. I did appreciate that she set up Bellamore Beauty, though it is in her contract to do so if she is unable to attend. I wish that it could have at least been a phone call as I feel like that is more personal. It was stressful since I was going to have someone show up on my wedding day who I didn’t have a hair trial with. I paid Miranda to come do my hair trial and in the end, she did not even do my wedding hair. I had a bit of an off putting feeling last year when I had difficulty connecting with her due to the pandemic forcing us to reschedule which I should have listened to, especially after seeing some reviews of other brides in similar situations. That being said, I can’t recommend Alannah Hilton enough who is contracted through Miranda to do wedding make up. Thankfully she was unaffected by this and was able to still come do my make up which I was very appreciative of.

I first seen Miranda's work at my friends wedding this summer. I was planning my own wedding at this time and reached out to my friend right away to ask who her hairstylist was. Her work was so beautiful I couldn't resist booking her for my own wedding! So I did and couldn't be happier with the work she did on my wedding day! She completed 6 Bridesmaids, 2 Mothers and myself within 3.5-4 hours! She was very quick at replying and very accommodating with changing times and location of services! If anyone is looking for a professional and reliable hairstylist for an event! I would highly recommend Miranda!!

Miranda was wonderful to have on my morning of my wedding. She brought a calm and professional environment with her. I felt so confident in her ability to deliver my hair and makeup. She was fun and every brides dream hype girl. She stayed in the background really well, engaging in convo when people initiated it but was respectful of the moments happening with the bridal party. I can understand that things are tricky during coronavirus restrictions, but my fiancee and I ended up with a very poor experience.
My fiancee and I ended up postponing our wedding from our original date (by 5 weeks), and Miranda had originally indicated that she was able to perform her hairstyling services on the postponed date. A week later, we had provincial restrictions placed that said Personal Services (such as hairstyling) were not allowed to remain open.
Fast forward in time just shy of 4 weeks after the new restrictions, and since we hadn't heard anything from Miranda, I reached out to her. She replied a day later indicating she wasn't able to legally perform these services. We phoned (and recorded the conversation) with Alberta Health Services, who indicated that as long as Miranda was not on our guest list, she could show up to the venue and perform her services, and leave before the wedding ceremony starts. At this point, we sent Miranda the recording, and she indicated that she was still not legally able to perform her services. After much back and forth by SMS, it ended up that Miranda refused to refund the deposit, did not offer any deferred services (such as a future hair styling for any event), and would not perform the hairstyling for our wedding.

Even worst, I saw she was still doing some works during this time so I asked how she performed on other people's events but not mine. Later, my husband and I both got threaten IG msgs saying we should drop this. One of the msg was from her friend.
