When my hairdresser of 20+ years cancelled on me 3 weeks before my wedding, Karen came to the rescue. Not only did she do my hair, but she also was able to do my mom's, grandma's and a few of the bridesmaids.

She came to the house on time and worked tirelessly until all the girls were done.

After getting my first reply back from Karen, I had a feeling we'd get along great, but it only got better from there! She made quick work of our trial appointment, nailing what I wanted, and arrived on time on my wedding day. Instantly, she became one of the 'girls' with the bridesmaids and I, laughing, joking, (even crying with me at a particular moment, and giving me time to shed a few more tears without ruining my makeup -- Thanks again for that!!) :) Our hair and makeup turned out fantastic, it lasted, and all of us were happy!! Karen was awesome!! I've got so many compliments about my hair style for the wedding and she was able to create exactly the look I wanted! Karen arrived on time, was super accommodating of everyone's requests and stayed on time getting myself and 7 others ready.

Fast, funny, enjoyable experience. Would hire her again in a second. Very pleased with overall service. I would have rated 5.0 but I don't think anyone is perfect. lol. Karen is an awesome person to deal with and I would recommend her services to anyone who is getting married, or who has a special function that they want to "dress to impress". Karen was the most amazing hairstylist. I had a "grandmotherzilla" and lost it on her and Karen brought me back into the zone. She was very flexible we had a very small space to work in and she worked with it. Karen knew ahead of time that we would be pressed for time so she brought her colleague Krystal to down makeup and the two of them together make an amazing team. I would highly recommend Beauty in Motion to everyone that I know whether it be for a wedding, photoshoot or just to get prettied up. Always have a trial done first & make sure you explain exactly what you want & like it. Even bring a picture of what you like or email one to your stylist. Also, if someone in your wedding party is very picky then have them get a trial done as well. just to save complications on the wedding day!

Always start early especially if you have one stylist doing your entire wedding party, that way it avoids rushing & if you have someone that doesn't like there service then the stylist has to start again.

Karen was on time, professional, she was patient with the bridesmaids that didn't know what they wanted & Karen gave them many options to choose from. The price was right. I had 8 ppl in total to get done. Karen was well organized with her belongings as well, to save more time.

She was great to work with, but the girls hair looked great at the start but mid day their hair was frizzy and lost its look. My hair was not what I had in mind and the same as the picture I refered too. Makeup was ok not the best

Karen was great to work with! She listened to what I was looking for and was able to make it happen! She was very easy going, fun to talk to and has a lot of experience working with hair! Her products were great as they provided the hold without being Stiff and Crispy! Great Job!
