Jayda did an amazing job with my bridal make up and hair! The entire experience was comfortable and relaxed. I provided her with little direction but when she was done it felt as if she knew exactly what kind of look I wanted to achieve for my wedding day! The booking process was extremely easy and accommodating. My mom had her hair done by Susan, who was lovely and also did an excellent job. I would highly recommend!! -

The owner is such a wonderful person. She’s so kind and made me feel comfortable. She was able to accommodate my massive bridal party of myself and 9 bridesmaids! My make up was amazing, she listened to what I wanted and delivered. I felt gorgeous and I couldn’t be happier with her services. The salon prices are very reasonable. My make up lasted the entire day, night, and the next day. Didn’t have to touch it up at all. Thank you again! -

The girls were efficient with a large group, including Bride, Bridesmaids, Flower Girls, and Mothers of Bride and Groom. Hair and makeup turned out beautifully and lasted all day, receiving many compliments! As a nervous Bride the morning of, I especially appreciated the relaxed atmosphere the girls maintained. :) Thank you for everything!!! -

[Anonymous] Sent on 08/04/2017I worked with Aliscia and she was just lovely and so accommodating. After she did my hair and makeup for my engagement session I was sold! She helped me pick beautiful style for my wedding day that worked perfectly with my hairpiece. It was really fun to work with the team on my big day and they came right to our hotel. All of my bridesmaids, my mom and mother in law looked amazing, we finished on time, and they found an adorable style for my 2 year old niece. As an added bonus the value was fantastic. Kelly H. Sent on 07/04/2017I was nervous getting my hairdome for my wedding and after my trial I was left with a fee styles we could maybe do, not a for sure look. Which I didn't appreciate. The day of my wedding I was told my hair lady had another appointment at 930- I forget what time she arrived but the whole time I was watching the clock knowing she was stressed. Also- she stated she didn't remember our trial so if I had some pictures that would be great. -

[Anonymous] Sent on 26/02/2017I would not recommend using The Hair Company for your wedding party. The one senior hairdresser was very opinionated and got very defensive when I tried to explain the style of hair I wanted for my wedding. I booked them to do my bridal hair, the maid of honor, flower girl and both mother's of the bride and groom, along with make-up. On my hair trial before the wedding, I showed several pictures of what I wanted, from Pintrist, the stylist told me she knew better and didn't even come close to what I wanted, charged $100 for the trial, which average salon's should be at 40-60$ for a trial. Then took the hair all down before I left. The day of the wedding was terrible, very unprofessional from one hair stylist who happened to do my hair. After sending in a complaint to the manager, he was very rude and refunded only 10$ of my tip, as he stated I had signed a contract. They charged my credit card without even providing me a invoice or receipt of what services I was paying for, costing me 900$ in total. Not worth the terrible wedding day memories. Use another salon in Banff.
