Looking for a Toronto wedding venue with some serious Art Deco flair? Well, you’re in luck! This city has a handful of stunning spots that’ll make all of your Gatsby-style dreams come true. This list boasts everything from a converted theatre to a brewery, so you’re bound to find something you love for your big day.

Here are some of the best Art Deco Toronto wedding venues.

The Eglinton Grand (400 Eglinton Avenue West)
If you’re on the hunt for a beautiful theatre wedding venue in Toronto, The Eglinton Grand is the spot for you. The decommissioned playhouse has been restored to its 1936 grandeur and boasts all the trappings of Art Deco opulence. Inside you’ll find rich mahogany detailing, marble trimmings and period furniture. It has two spaces available for weddings: The Gallery (which has enough room for 220 guests) and The Grand Ballroom (which has enough room for 550 guests). There’s also a spacious bridal suite where you can get all dolled up for your big day.

Palais Royale (1601 Lakeshore Boulevard West)
This nearly century-old waterfront wedding venue is definitely one of Toronto’s most stunning Art Deco buildings. It sits right on the shimmering waters of Lake Ontario and boasts vaulted ceilings, a stage, original gas fireplaces and more. Still not sold? Over the years it has played host to greats like Count Basie and Duke Ellington, giving it plenty of star power. Its largest space, the Ballroom, can accommodate up to 800 guests, so you should have no trouble fitting all of your friends, family members and followers.

Junction Craft Brewing (150 Symes Road)
Junction Craft Brewing may be a relatively new operation, but it lives inside one of the city’s most treasured Art Deco spots. The portholed building was erected in the 1930’s and used to be home to a waste-transfer station. In 2016 the brewery moved in and set up shop, transforming its interior into a modern, industrial mecca for beer lovers (don’t worry, the structure still looks the same). Because it’s mainly used for brewing and bottling, the inside is pretty bare bones. This means you can dress it up however you want for your wedding day - stick to its art deco roots or go a completely different direction. It can accommodate anywhere from 50 to 350 guests, making it perfect for intimate affairs and massive soirees.
