Shades of Pale Wedding Inspiration

Find inspiration for all your wedding details in this stunning styled shoot by a team of talented Canadian vendors.

Looking for some wedding theme and colour scheme inspiration? Inspired by a monochromatic colour palette and a minimalist European aesthetic, wedding designer Elise Shmitz of TOAST Events and a team of talented vendors from Ottawa and Montreal, collaborated on this inspiring photo shoot full of great ideas for achieving a simple, yet chic wedding style using a neutral colour palette. Laura Kelly Photography captured it all in these gorgeous images.

Here are some inspiring ways to use a neutral colour palette.

Classic and timeless, a palette of white, ivory, beige and gold is a versatile combination that will work well in any venue. This shoot illustrates how to put together a dreamy display using modern monochromatic elements, decorative gold antique accents and simple greenery. The result is a cohesive event design that oozes romance and style. From stylish stationery by LaFabère and designer decor featuring eclectic finds by Makin’ It Lovely to pretty pale pastel floral arrangements by Floralia and a stunning cake by OSSO Sweet, you’ll find inspiration for all the big day details.

We love the couple's fashion forward wedding looks with the bride wearing a simple white, sheath gown with V-neck and spaghetti straps from The Handmade Bride and the groom dressed in a classic black tuxedo from L'HEXAGONE Menswear. The bride's beauty look is fresh and modern with a loose pony by Topknot and dewy, natural makeup by Klava Z. The finishing touches - a jewelled custom headpiece by White Ribbon Accents, fingertip veil and vintage crystal stud earrings by Sarah Walsh Bridals.

Designer and artist, Christine of LaFabère, brought her handcrafted touch to all the paper goods and set the tone with an all-white invitation suite. Plus, you'll see another creative element featured - live painting of the ceremony and reception by Christine in a similar design style - an idea you and your guests will love.

Looking to add a stylish, personalized touch to your wedding favours? This gift wrap from LaFabère is ideal for wrapping olive oil bottles, candles, wine bottles, etc. Simply follow the DIY instructions and download the gift wrap file, print on tabloid-sized paper and start packaging!
