Kid Icarus is a wedding invitation service that covers the spectrum of all stationery needs for your special day. Everything is hand printed in house using a traditional silk screen print method. The company offers phone or email correspondents and shipping for customers outside of the Toronto region. Kid Icarus sells handmade goods that are crafted by local artisans. In 2012, the company was awarded Wedding Wire’s Bride’s Choice.

Invites=First Impressions

The first connection made between guests and your wedding is through your invitations/save the dates. Kid Icarus helped us make the best first impression possible! They were receptive to our ideas but helped shape and better them, and designed an invitation suite that was completely unique (it featured hand-drawn illustrations of herbs and flowers we grow in our garden). Throughout each set of revisions, the staff at Kid Icarus were incredibly responsive, professional, and timely. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I designed my own invitations and brought them to Kid Icarus for printing. I worked with Jordy at Kid Icarus, who was very helpful and made some suggestions for improving the design, and they turned out even better than I hoped. I also had a custom stamp made for our return address, which made mailing our invites much easier.

We had our wedding invitation printed at Kid Icarus. We chose to do our own design to save some money, and had this place recommended to us by a friend. Everything went very smoothly, the invitations we printed exactly like we wanted and well within our slightly tight time constraints. Bianca and Michael were very helpful and patient!

Kid Icarus did a great job on all our stationary! Bianca's great attention to detail let to an invitation design that perfectly matched our style. We were so happy with the result that we went back for our thank you and escort cards as well as menus. They also helped us personalize our guestbook by printing our design and wedding date on the cover.
I hope I will have the oportunity to work with them in the future!

Bianca was great to work with. She designed beautiful invitations for us, for an amazingly reasonable price and was a pleasure to work with at the same time. I recommend Kid Icarus to everyone I know.

I got married last September and left one of the most important items (the invitations) until the last possible moment. I am a big fan of referrals, but a few of the invitation places I reviewed seemed very cookie cutter and expensive!

After receiving a complimentary copy of Toronto Life's wedding edition, I began thumbing through the featured vendors. I literally narrowed my choice of invitation providers to two (based on cost, locations and their description of services). After careful consideration of each of their respective websites, I chose Kid Icarus.

My choice was confirmed when I called and spoke with Bianca - one of the owners. She was professional and interested in meeting my needs.

Kid Icarus provided us with the one-of-a-kind creativity we were looking for in an invitation. Both Bianca and Mike worked diligently in making sure the design, colours and final outcome was exactly right. In the end our invitations garnered so much attention that 9 of our invitees kept them on their walls as works of art, and one invitation went into a wedding art exhibit in Ottawa.

If you are looking for genuine art pieces, Bianca and Mike do an amazing job!

Beautiful and unique invitations were custom designed for my small and intimate wedding. As we only needed very few, they work that Bianca put into them was really special. I would highly recommend Kid Icarus for any custom work, invitations, announcements etc.They make excellent quality, artistic and original things!

Hi I'm Michael, the owner of Kid Icarus in Toronto, Canada. I've been screen printing fine art and wedding invites for 20 years now. What started with printing invites for my sister and a few close friend - eventually turned into a full time practice with 7 employees, a full screen print studio, and retail space.

The business grew organically through our hand printed invitations. Invites which were passed to family members and close friends turned into our calling card. Soon, friends and family of our clients would show up at our storefront when it was their turn to get married. I’m proud that our work has become the definition of who we are, and I hope they become a part of your special moment as well.
