I can't say enough good things about Alysia! Her calm demeanor kept me feeling relaxed throughout the entire process, and chatting with her felt like hanging out with a friend, yet she remained incredibly professional. I am in awe of her skills with both hair and makeup. My mom and bridesmaids all looked absolutely stunning, and I can honestly say my hair has never looked that good in my life. I'm hoping for another event just to have the chance to work with her again!
I'm not someone who enjoys being in front of the camera, but Alysia made me feel confident and beautiful on my wedding day, which was truly magical. She played a huge part in making it memorable. The morning spent getting ready with the girls was so fun and chill, and I owe a lot of that to her wonderful energy and talent. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented, calming presence on their special day! -

Alysia performed our hair and makeup for our family wedding this past weekend.
We provided a few inspirational photos and she was able to work with the pictures provided. She even offered additional tips and advice to enhance what our original vision was. We could not have been more pleased with the outcome.

Alysia was incredible! She answered every single question I had and really took the time to get to me know me; she didn’t treat this like a job, rather she treated me like family. She genuinely cared about me and my bridal party, and all of the concerns we brought up to her. She has a calm personality and is extremely friendly - I felt so comfortable around her, and was able to talk to her about everything. She brought my vision to life completely and I am so grateful to have had her on the most important day of my life! Now about the look - I was floored when I looked in the mirror, I couldn’t believe the girl looking back at me was actually me! I have very oily skin and large pores and typically makeup does not last very long on my skin, but not only did it last the entire night, it stayed flawless throughout the sweat, tears, and dancing! The makeup and hair really did stand the test of time and I put both through a lot - Alysia is just simply the best! Besides my wedding I was lucky enough to have her do my hair and makeup for my engagement party and photoshoot, bridal shower, boudoir shoot, and rehearsal dinner. For each event she gave me completely new and unique looks, I don’t know how she does it, I just know that for as long as she does hair and makeup, I will only book her. I cannot recommend her enough! -

Alysia is a wonderful makeup artist/hairstylist and I couldn’t be happier to have had her on my wedding day. I had a very large bridal party and many family members ranging from very young to mature, all with different skin tones and skin concerns – and Alysia took care of everyone! She was able to give everyone the perfect application, not too much and not too little – catered exactly to what they needed. The look Alysia did for me was striking and glamorous but still natural and I looked like myself, with all my best features enhanced. She was also very calming and easy to talk to, which made the getting ready process such a breeze. Alysia really listened to what I wanted and brought my vision to life, the hair and makeup also didn’t budge throughout my nuptials and reception which was more than 14 hours. I cannot recommend Alysia enough, you are in the best care with her! -

Alysia was amazing!
I had a phone consultation with Alysia before our appointment, and right from the beginning she was professional, responsive, and was a great listener. On the day of the wedding, I was completely at ease and comfortable while she was dolling me up, which lessened my stress by a ton! She did hair and makeup on 6 of my bridesmaids, my mother and myself the bride. She was diligent and paid attention to every little detail. I was very surprised at how efficiently but perfectly she created unique looks on us all that completely complimented our skin tones and eye colours. My bridesmaids are all of different ethnicities and Alysia, matched everyone perfectly! My mother loved her makeup as well and all of the guests told her she looked 20 years younger. I would absolutely recommend Alysia for your wedding or any special event! -

Alysia was a dream to work with! She is the first make up artist I’ve ever worked with who has made me look and feel like myself. She was caring, attentive and had such a positive vibe all around. She listened to all the requests I had and catered the inspiration photos I showed her to suit me. I am just blown away by her talent! I have never looked better, and I have no idea how she does it, it just feels like magic! The makeup stayed flawless all throughout the day and into the night, my curls stayed in place for days afterwards, I was able to even leave for my honeymoon with my hair looking perfect! Alysia is also an excellent communicator, very professional with an infectious personality. Even though I extremely anxious, having her around and taking care of everything, even non-makeup related, took a lot of stress off of me. She helped out with flower arrangements, putting together our take home gifts, loading up the car and even last-minute decorating at the venue. She went above and beyond to help me, even with things that were not her responsibility – I am so grateful to have had her on my wedding day. -

I used Alysia Hair and Makeup for my wedding day and wow did she do a great job! She was so patient and understanding and really listened to what I wanted and didn’t want. I had a phone consultation with her before the day and she went through everything from my skin type to hair type to likes and dislikes. She’s very responsive and quick to answer any calls and message; she is very accommodating and flexible, even when things came up last minute, she took care of everything for us. Alysia also went out of her way to purchase a lipstick for me which I couldn’t pickup myself, she bought it beforehand and had it ready for me on the wedding day as I wanted to wear it for the reception. My sister, mom and niece were all so happy with the magic Alysia did on us. I really felt beautiful on my special day but not overdone. It was perfect!! Thank you Alysia! We can’t wait to have you doll us up again! -
