I appreciated all of her tips and tricks - those definitely helped keep me stain really dark for my wedding day. She's very patient and bubbly which really helped me stay calm!!

Aneta Sent on 04/10/2017Sarah from Breath of Henna did my bridal white henna as well as my guest’s white henna. I am Polish so I was looking for non-traditional white henna, which is difficult to find in Toronto. She is such a pro and I was amazed at how quickly and beautifully she applied the design on my hands! She made sure to assure me that the white henna would not irritate the skin and it didn't. It stayed on for close to 48 hours - which is very impressive! The design was customized for me based on my wedding dress. Beyond the fact that Sarah is extremely talented, she is also the loveliest person – so kind and friendly! Everyone at my henna party commented on how amazing she was, and that this was definitely the highlight of the night, especially for some of the out-of-country guests who had never experienced such an event. My little flower girl refused to wash her hands because she wanted to keep the henna on as long as possible, so that she could show it off at school when she returned to Poland lol. I highly recommend Sarah for her skill, professionalism and contagious personality.

[Anonymous] Sent on 08/05/2017Sarah is incredibly talented and professional in her artwork (mendhi isn't just a service, it truly is artwork to those who appreciate it). She renders a unique drawing for each of her brides that can be framed, while clearly communicating how much each package costs,and what it involves. She was very accommodating with my many changes to the day and time of my mendhi. Moreover, when I had a minor change to the rendering she was very receptive to the changes, she even added to the design while doing my mendhi. All my friends enjoyed being adorned by Sarah, who was stunningly talented, and very professional. I would highly recommend Sarah to any bride looking for a unique one of a kind tailored mendhi that is still true to the artists unique style. -

[Anonymous] Sent on 26/04/2017I first met Sarah from Breath of Henna at the Lavish Bridal Show. As soon as I saw her designs and spoke with her I knew she was the one I wanted to do my henna. She was personable, responsive and just had a passion for good design.
I had a destination wedding and so didn't want the traditional heavy classic henna. From Sarah's portfolio I knew exactly what I wanted when I saw it. Even though I was confident that I wanted Sarah for my henna application, she offered me a trial. And she did not disappoint. The little bit of work she did on my hand reaffirmed what I thought about her work. I booked her right away months before my actual wedding.
I had my henna done on a Sunday and flew out on a Monday, wedding on a Thursday. My henna lasted from the day I was adorned. I used the excellent aftercare instructions provided by Sarah. Right after the application I used heated spices in a pan and rotated my hands over them as well as used a sugar /lemon mixture dabbed on the applied henna. I left the henna on overnight to ensure maximum colour. The next morning I scrapped off the henna and applied coconut oil to ensure the colour penetrated. I made sure in Jamaica not to let any salt water hit the henna so it did not fade before my wedding day, and even applied more coconut oil when I got to Jamaica. All in all Sarah was great. I would definitely recommend Breath of Henna . This is not your typical henna artist, she truly is an artist with skills. -
Sana K. Sent on 12/02/2017Sara is extremely professional. The bridal diary is truly an EXPERIENCE . not just henna on your hands. from the beginning of my henna journey to the end i was in awe at how seamlessly the entire journey was. The end result is of course breathtaking .

Her price breakdown is clear and more importantly her artwork is phenomenal. What she created for me and for my bridesmaids was more than I could've imagined and every one of my guests commented on how awesome she was as a person.
