  Wedding makeup

  I went with CB Beauty due to referrals from friends. Looking for a trial date was hard as I wanted it before my bridal shower or bachelorette, however Cass advisied that they don't do trials during wedding season. I did my trial with Cass and loved my makeup, she was fast & efficient. 3 days before my wedding, Cass informed me that she was going on a conference, and would not be there.
  Alannah stepped in and did the makeup and she was phenomenal- so sweet and great to talk to! She did such an amazing job. Unfortunately she did not know what I did for my trial, thankfully I had a photo to show her.
  Cass cancelling felt very unprofessional, however I was super thankful for Alannah! She was very professional and I would book with her again in a heartbeat.

  Save your time and book someone else

  I strongly advise against booking this company for your wedding or special events. Despite signing a contract a year in advance, they were completely unresponsiveness. On August 1st I finally received a voice note from the owner Cassandra Britton saying that they "grew too big too quick" and couldn't keep up with the business. I'm not sure what there was to keep up with other than answering an email. I responded to this that I was willing to go ahead as at that time I had yet to find another company. She did not answer again until the day before my wedding asking if they should still show up...
  
  I have sent multiple emails, scheduled calls with the owner (who never called back), and sent texts with no response. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of communication is extremely frustrating, especially because I had to find a new company on very short notice. This situation also resulted in much higher costs, as most artists raise their prices annually (as they should). Instead of paying 2023 rates, I am now forced to pay 2024 prices with hefty travel fees to secure available artists for my venue.
  
  Their contract states that they "will obtain, upon approval of the client, a qualified professional replacement to fulfill CB Beauty's obligations under the contract, at no additional charge to the client." However, this is impossible to arrange when they don't respond to emails or texts, and their phone number is no longer active.
  
  Based on the other recent reviews and messages I've received from others, it seems this issue is a common occurrence when dealing with them. Save yourself the stress and find a reliable company that will respect your time and have the decency to fulfill their contracts.

  Just don’t

  I booked this vendor, as my neighbour’s daughter went to school with her and recommended her. She had great reviews at the time, except for one regarding responsiveness, which I gave the benefit of the doubt. When I booked last year, she said she did not have time to do a trial because she was very busy, but to check back later. There was no communication since. I messaged her early last month to see if she could do a trial and asked her about microblading. She asked who I was. I was a bit taken aback by this question, but answered her with my full name and wedding date. She read the message and did not reply. She then posted several stories and postings on the platform I had messaged her on, but no reply to me. I tried again and my message was ignored. I then emailed her and there was no reply. I sent another email last week telling her that if she did not reply by this week that I would consider her to have voided our contract due to non-communication. I have not heard anything back and now there are several brides and customers leaving bad reviews stating the same situation I am going through. It is fine if you cannot fulfil your end of the contract, but don’t ignore people who are counting on you for their big day.

  Do not book with them

  Amazing Hair & Makeup Services

  Had an incredible experience with CB Beauty. I had the pleasure of working with Alannah for my makeup and Alanna for my hair. Their work truly exceeded my expectations. Despite the challenging conditions of humidity and hours of dancing, both the makeup and hair held up flawlessly throughout the entire night.   Lovely people and amazing work

  The artists that we hired for hair and makeup from CB Beauty were incredible. They were both professional and created looks for everyone that they loved. CB Beauty travelled to our location (additional travel fee) which was something that I truly appreciated so that we could get ready at the wedding location.

  Best make up artist

  CB Beauty is an amazing company and I highly suggest you hire them for your wedding. I had Cassandra do a spray tan for me which I had never done before and I loved it. She also did my make up for me, my 8 bridesmaid and my mother. Everybody looked stunning! The make up was beyond perfect. She is the most amazing make up artist I have ever come across. Thank you for everything you did for my wedding.

  Fantastic start to finish

  I Could not recommend this team more. The girls were fun and made myself, all of the bridesmaids, my mom and my aunt look flawless. Fun to talk to throughout the day and they were even able to accommodate a last minute makeup application
