Calm & Effervescent
On a day with so much stress, Chelsea was a calm and lovely influence. I brought all my concerns to Chelsea - my hair won't hold a curl or shape, my fiance wants it down but I'm worried about getting hot & sweaty, I want my fiance (who never wears makeup) to have some basic makeup for photos & she's worried about sweating (and more). Chelsea was unfazed - did the make up equivalent of "hold my beer" - and kept her cheerful & effervescent demeanor throughout. We did a trial to help us both feel more comfortable and Chelsea drove up to Mount Tremblant on a Saturday in peak wedding season just for my hair & makeup and my fiance's basic makeup! I was so pleased with how everything turned out. -

Never looked or felt more beautiful!
I am so grateful to have chosen Chelsea to do my hair and makeup on my wedding day. From the day I first met her, she had such a comforting, relaxed presence and really made me feel comfortable. When you’re planning a wedding, that kind of energy is very appreciated!! I didn’t have a strong vision of what I wanted to look like, but she was so patient with me and asked all the right questions to help build a vision together. I can truly say I have never looked or felt more beautiful than on my wedding day, and that’s all thanks to her.
Everyone in my wedding party loved her, she’s a blast to be around, extremely talented, and you will never regret picking her for your big day!! Thank you Chelsea for everything. -

We hired Chelsea for hair & makeup for our wedding for me + 9 others (bridesmaid, moms, grandmas). We met Chelsea at a hair & makeup trial, she was absolutely fabulous. She is so easy going and fun to talk to, and is also amazing at her job. I don’t normally wear makeup or have my hair done, so I wanted something that felt natural and like myself but was still elevated. I really felt that she nailed it!! Chelsea and her colleague Jess came all the way to Charlevoix for our big day, and everything ran completely on time. Everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup, and I received many comments regarding how lovely both Chelsea and Jess were. If you’re looking for someone to do your hair + makeup, look no further- you are in good hands with Chelsea! -

I loved her so much. Didn't make me feel awkward (and everyone makes me awkward), and was honestly just a super chill and easy to get along with human being. I did a trial first after an experience with someone who while being skilled just didn't listen to my tastes and gave me a look that was just not me. Chelsea Dawn listens and understood the assignment immediately, and I booked her right away! -

I hired Chelsea and her friend Kristen to do the makeup for me and my bridesmaids, and we all had a wonderful experience with them! They both were professional, friendly and efficient! Chelsea was also very friendly during the trial process, and listened to my concerns. She was also very responsive during the contract signing process. All in all a very good experience and I would 110% recommend any bride hire her for their wedding day! -
