Felt like a fairy princess!
Katie and Carly were both incredible. They came to my house and did the hair and makeup for myself, the bridal party and my mom. We all felt amazing and our hair and makeup lasted all day and through a long New Year's eve evening. They listened to our requests and I dare say, they NAILED IT!

Beauty Team Extraordinaire!
Working with the Glamaway team was a dream come true! Erin and Cassandra turned me into a true mountain princess and ready to take on the day with everything from hiking to dancing all night. My hair and makeup still looked picture ready when I finally called it a night. My girlfriends raved about their looks and I would recommend them to any bride wanting to ensure perfection or just wanting to look great for a fun night out!

Wonderful and amazing!
After having my first make up artist cancel on me a few months before the wedding, she had suggested Erin and her team. We were paired up with Taelor and all I can say is AMAZING! Taelor was so personable and friendly! It was like hanging out with another girlfriend on the morning of. Her ability to hone in on our best features and make us all glow was wonderful. A bonus, the makeup stayed on through the entire day!!

2 amazing ladies
We had a hair and a makeup lady come to our hotel the morning of the wedding. Both showed up early and were very polite and professional. They were very accepting and accommodating of what we were asking for. I had my young cousin (11) there for her hair and makeup and they were able to create a look for her that wasnt too over the top yet made her sooooo happy. The makeup products were great, stayed on for the whole day through the rain storm and a few tears. I would highly recommend this service.

Expectations not met
If you're new to make up, you'll be satisfied. Our bridal party knows make up and ended up very disappointed. The artists didn't listen to what we wanted (we all had to re-do some elements, bride included), the products didn't last (melting off our faces by the reception) and though all the bridesmaids wanted the same make up, we all came out completely different.
Hair was good, though didn't stay all night for some of the girls with longer hair. I had mentioned to the owner prior to the wedding about how we were feeling based on the trial, she reassured me everything would be great - not the case.
Overall, I struggled with their professionalism. The girls we're nice, but it just didn't seem like they we're as skilled as I was told they were. Then again, our standards were maybe too high.

Glamaway was excellent. They came out to Canmore with the Beauty Bus for our December wedding. There was 12 ladies getting hair and makeup done and they were all thrilled with the bus and the champagne bar!
I would recommend Glamaway for anyone who has a large group of people getting hair and makeup done for an event!
