While Jayna Marie has always been allured by the magic of makeup, it wasn’t until she had a vision of her walking down an endless white hallway, seemingly trapped in the daily grind forever, that she decided to follow her heart. As a kid, she remembers giving makeovers to her friends and lapping up makeup tips from Oprah; she rightly gave that ‘kid’ the free reins to live her passion and enrolled for a diploma in makeup artistry from Blanche Macdonald. She then worked hard to build her portfolio and climbed her way up the ladder of success. Never once did she lose faith in her dream, not even when things didn’t seem easy. Jayna runs her business, Jayna Marie Makeup + Hair in Vancouver, British Columbia, through which she fulfills wedding dreams of brides.

It is by virtue of Jayna’s ardour and perseverance that she has been able to work with celebrities like Lady Gaga and Nikki Yanofsky, international brands like Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Lancome and Benefit Cosmetics, and travelled new places for destination weddings. She has won several accolades for her work including Bride’s Choice Awards for 2011, 2012, and 2013 by WeddingWire and was also featured in weddingbells as one of Canada’s Finest Bridal Hair Stylists.

Jayna offers consultation (which usually lasts for 1.5 hours) to clients which gives her an opportunity to learn about their inspirations, preferences, and likes and dislikes. She also offers trial runs for both makeup and hair so that the brides know how they would actually look on their big day. With more than nine years of experience, Jayna is not just conversant with her work but also knows how to put her clients at ease. She offers the following packages for brides:
