Based out of Vancouver, Lindsay MacLean Studios is an award-winning and published mobile makeup and hair service specializing in bridal and photography. She has glammed over 500 brides and 1000 faces over her 15 year career. Lindsay has traveled all over the world for her clients and the love of her craft. She has been a stylist for over fifteen years, graduating from Blanche Macdonald with the Master's Makeup Diploma. She welcomes all new clients and creative collaborations. In addition to bridal services, Lindsay is a Boudoir Photographer at Wild Femme Boudoir and a Wedding Photographer, and offers special deals for clients who book makeup, hair and photography services! Over her 10 year career as a photographer, she has photographed over 700 people.

Amazing hair, make-up and boudoir!
Oh my gosh, Lindsay is incredible. The trial was so much fun, and she offered a bridal boudoir package that could be used as a wedding gift (which I never would have thought to do!). She always made me feel so comfortable, providing one's favourite snacks and drink. On the morning of the wedding she was punctual and a calming force that we all needed. Everyone looked absolutely stunning for the wedding and my bridesmaid and Mum's were incredibly happy! I highly recommend Lindsay!

Lindsay was an absolute gem!
Lindsay was absolutely amazing to work with - both on the day of the wedding and leading up to it! I was pretty particular about my hair and skin, and she did a great job adjusting the look and giving suggestions. She’s super nice and helped keep the morning feeling stress-free. My bridesmaids and mothers were also very happy with their looks!
She brought Ruby as her secondary MUA and she was amazing, as well!

We all looked and felt so beautiful!
Lindsay was incredible from the beginning of the planning process, right up to the finished product - a bride and her girls looking and feeling so beautiful. She was so accommodating for time and schedule and came right to my maid of honors house so we could all spend the morning together. My mom can be a bit particular about her hair and make up, but as soon as she saw mine after my trial she knew that I had hired a professional. She was a joy to be around and fit in seamlessly as all us girls were flitting around with excitement for the wedding day. Thank you so much Lindsay! You helped start off a magical day on the right note!

Highly recommend!
Working with Lindsay was a wonderful experience. She did hair and makeup for me and 5 bridesmaids/moms. From our first interactions she was very quick to respond and super easy to work with, she made me feel comfortable right away at the hair and makeup trial. She traveled to Bowen island for my wedding and everything ran super smoothly. We were all thrilled with her work!

Professional services, flexible, beautiful results!
I worked with Lindsay and her team for my wedding this past summer. We did a trial beforehand. She was super receptive to my feedback and made sure I felt confident in the vision for the wedding day. I loved the look we ended up with and it lasted all night(even through all the tears!) My bridesmaids looked amazing. Extremely professional services all around. Would definitely recommend ☺️

Loved my bridal hair and make-up!
Communication with Lindsay was great from the outset. She created a look that perfectly matched what I was looking for. The bridal trial was a lot of fun and Lindsay had helpful suggestions for what would work with my accessories. Wedding day preparations were seamless and relaxed - we even ran ahead of schedule. As an added bonus, I did not require any make-up touch-ups during the event, which was amazing.

Choose Lindsay MacLean for your hair and make up!
Lindsay did an amazing job with the hair and make up for me and my bridesmaids. To start with, she is a great communicator. Professional, timely, friendly, and available. I was impressed that someone who is obviously so good at what she does and in demand was so on top of her emails! The make up and hair looked gorgeous and lasted all day. Highly recommend!

The best of the best!
Lindsay did incredible work on my hair and makeup for my recent wedding. She made the whole process feel effortless, and what I expected to be the most stressful part of the day actually turned out to be the smoothest. Her calm, personable, and professional approach made such a difference, and I truly appreciate her patience with my indecisiveness at times ;) I have tricky skin, and she worked with me to make sure my makeup would last through the whole evening. Everything turned out perfectly, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you again for helping me feel my best on such a big day!

Makeup, hair and boudoir package package
I had the pleasure of working with Lindsay. I did the bridal package with a boudoir. First of all, Lindsay communicates efficiently as a vendor. I experienced personalized services from her. From the initial meeting, I felt that she was “the one” for me. As a person who doesn’t usually wear makeup but is very particular about how my eyes and brows look, Lindsay gave me suggestions and made me feel like I was working with a co-worker with a common goal.
In addition, I am a private person who is uncomfortable with some my features but open to trying new things. So, when I saw that Lindsay offered boudoir packages, I tried it with her. Doing the boudoir with Lindsay was eye-opening for me. I never thought I would look at myself in the pictures and would say, “damn, I look good.” She made me feel comfortable with my body. I gained some confidence after that session. Lindsay has an eye and vision as a boudoir photographer.

Just amazing!
Lindsay was professional, prepared, fun, creative and a wonderfully reassuring presence on the day as well as very communicative in the lead up. We wanted more editorial style and she delivered- What a star. The photos are beyond our wildest dreams and we could not have had a better experI eve- Do not hesitate to book!

I am a Vancouver-based makeup and hair artist that has been specializing in bridal and photography for over 15 years. I graduated from Blanche Macdonald with the Master's Makeup Diploma in 2009, and have continued my education by taking yearly classes, ensuring that I'm up to date with current trends, tools and products.
I have also been a photographer for over 9 years and am the owner of Wild Femme Boudoir.
