  Wouldn't hesitate to recommend

  Michael did a phenomenal job as my wedding HMUA and he was no doubt the right choice for me, as a gal who doesn't wear lots of makeup normally and wanted to feel like an elevated version of myself for my big day. All of my bridesmaids, my mom, and I loved how we looked thanks to Michael and his assistant Anastasiia. They were super professional and on time, so friendly and personable (even at the early start of 5am!), and most importantly very talented. Don't hesitate to book with Michael and his team for the natural, elevated vibe he is known for.

  Michael did a phenomenal job as my wedding HMUA and he was no doubt the right choice for me, as a gal who doesn't wear lots of makeup normally and wanted to feel like an elevated version of myself for my big day.   Beauty Inside and Out!

  Michael Fels is simply amazing! All of the bridesmaids felt so comfortable and safe in Michael's and his colleague's hands! Everyone including me looked amazing! Michael is so sweet, attentive, fun, professional and has an eye for makeup and making sure you look your best! Everyone who saw me loved the makeup, especially me! From the initial consultation to the bridal makeup trial to the big day itself, Michael was always supportive and ready with tips to help with keeping calm leading up to the big day and skincare best practices and was always open to changes, trying different things, and making sure I was satisfied with the final look! I would 100% recommend Michael Fels to future brides! You will not be disappointed!

  Queer Gladstone Wedding

  Michael and his team were unbelievable. We are so incredibly happy that we found them. As a queer couple we were a little nervous about finding a affirming makeup artist. Michael and his team were amazing from beginning to end. Starting with the video interview and questionnaire's to the "final product" we felt seen, comfortable and knew we had found the perfect fit. The makeup and hair of our bridal party and the two brides fit perfectly with our vision of looking our best selves. The looks were natural, and at the same time glamourous. The makeup and hair lasted the entire night! If you are looking for an absolutely outstanding experience, especially if you are a queer couple look no further!

  Stunning hair and makeup!!

  I hired Michael for my wedding hair and makeup this past October, and I was absolutely thrilled with the results. He was able to achieve a stunning, natural yet glamorous makeup that looked so good. My hair and makeup remained flawless throughout the entire day and night. Even after shedding some tears and dancing up a storm, my makeup held up like it had just been applied – it was magic! Michael not only made the morning of my wedding effortless and relaxed but also fun! During the trial, it was clear he is extremely detailed and organized, taking meticulous notes about all the preferences and selections we tried. In addition to my hair and makeup, Michael also worked his magic on my mom's hair and makeup, and she looked absolutely stunning. I wholeheartedly recommend Michael if you're seeking a stress-free getting-ready experience and flawless hair and makeup. He delivered a truly perfect look, and I couldn't be happier with how I looked!

  Such a great job!

  Michael is talented and awesome. I feel like we could be friends! He is so funny and a great conversationalist. We talked about everything. On your wedding day, you want to have your mind and ease, and he makes your forget about all the work you have to do. It’s a great way to start your day. Never underestimate the personality of your artist. That is just as important as their talent.
  
  Speaking of talent, Michael is a true artist. I was looking for someone who can make me look like me but enhanced. He did just that. It’s his speciality. I also wanted someone who would do my makeup true to Colour. I have brown skin so I am worried about people making my skin look lighter etc. Michael knew exactly how to mix the colours the match my skin. I also have hyper pigmentation and he knew how to Colour correct and balance.
  
  If you’re a poc, don’t hesitate working with Michael. He knows what he’s doing.
  
  His makeup was done so swell that is lasted all day and it looked nice and smooth.
  
  Okay… the hair! Wow! My hair is thick and heavy and never holds a style for long. Michael did the Hollywood wave and really nailed it. Hair lasted all night long. Just perfect.
  
  Hair and makeup was 100% matching the 1920s Hollywood look I wanted. Matched my dress perfectly. Lots of compliments.
  
  I did the trial as well. I recommend it because you can really learn what works for your hair and skin. I also did the touch up add on before my reception. I’m glad I did it but also, don’t be makeup was so good that I’m pretty sure it would have last without the first application.
  
  My mom did her makeup to and it last all day. My sister also just did her hair and it also lasted all day! They were happy and loved it.

  Sooo talented at both hair and makeup!

  Micheal did such a wonderful job on both hair and makeup for myself and my mother. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to my closest friends. He takes the time to listen to what you’re looking for and how your hair and skin are to really come up with a plan. My skin is less than ideal and was a concern for me but I felt flawless on my wedding day! His “subtle glam or yourself but better” truly is that! And hair was given the same amount of care, I had a guest say to me “your hair looks like a work of art!”

  Michael and his assistant were such a pleasure to work with on our wedding day! They arrived at our home and were just such a joy. We had some vibrant personalities from our family, and Michael worked so well with everyone. The peanut gallary had some comments, and Michael knew how to be respectful and funny at the same time. From all the moms and family, everyone loved their hair and makeup with NO complaints. When does that ever happen ??? Everyone felt comfortable and felt listened to. Michael and his assistant spent many hours from 7:00 AM - Noon getting us ready and were so professional and skilled in their trade. The hair and makeup was exactly what everyone wanted, and we are so thankful to Michael Fels Beauty that everyone looked like an elevated version of themselves and so beautiful. Thank you!!

  Simply the best

  The process: My beautiful bride and her daughter spent a full day sorting through different artists. I had her decide on her top 3. I went through Michael's reviews first. Every review came from the heart. A few of them put tears in my eyes. I moved on to the next artist. They were good reviews but none came from the heart. I didn't even review the last artist. I knew Michael was the perfect fit.
  
  The trial: Before the trial date, we went everywhere looking for dresses. We found that perfect one that brought tears to my beautiful bride's eyes. Unfortunately, it came with the company. After our trial with Michael, she looked at me and said "This was the first time I have felt like a bride". During the session, my step daughter got the music going and Michael shook his rump. My step daughter ate it up. She loved it. My beautiful bride looked amazing.
  
  The big day: A few days before the wedding, my bride was a wreck. She was nervous about walking down the aisle and very nervous about giving her vows. She was concerned about crying all the way down and she was going to race through her vows. I don't know what Michael did or said to her, but she came out, grinning from ear to ear and she crushed the ceremony. I was the one blubbering through my vows. It was a pretty incredible day. Fortunately, everything went smooth, we made some great decisions on our vendors. By far, Michael was the best. He did many things, large and small, that made our day perfect. I can't thank him enough.

  An Honest and Fun Make and Hair Artist

  I'm not a woman who likes a ton of make-up on or is used to having anyone else do my make-up. Michael was able to make me feel relaxed and made me feel like he really valued what I had to say and my opinion. His honesty was SO refreshing. I loved it and got us to come to a decision on things that much faster. I can't say enough good things about Michael's services. =)

  Michael was a great choice for my wedding. His team arrived very early to have myself and 5 others ready for 10:30am. He was professional, he was able to match my vision and he made me feel beautiful. He also gave me some great tips! Would definitely recommend.
