About

Situated in Surrey, British Columbia, Michelle McRae is able to provide beauty services for any occasion. She is mobile and can come to your location to provide her services so that the bride can relax and enjoy. She believes that creating a beautiful look and feel for her clients makes her job rewarding and fun. Although Michelle once planned to attend school and then get into TV and film, she fell in love with makeup once she started working with brides and decided that this was her calling. She is open to travel to areas including the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Okanagan Valley, The Island, and other locales to provide her services.

Experience

Michelle has the experience of working with hundreds of brides and their bridal parties, grads, and also a few musicians. She was also the makeup artist for Team Finland and their TV broadcast crew when they came to Vancouver for the 2010 Olympics. She also went to Blanche MacDonald in Vancouver for her studies.

Services offered

Trial services are provided by the business along with full day service. Full makeup application for bridesmaid, mothers, and grandmothers is also provided. Services provided for the bride include:

It was a wonderful experience having Michelle as a makeup artist for my wedding. I felt so beautiful on our wedding day. She also did a trial run for me on the day we had our engagement photos, and she did a great job on both occasions. Michelle is prompt, professional, flexible and easy going. She is easy to talk to and makes sure to capture your vision. She often has contests running for her clients, which you can see on her Facebook page - check it out! I would recommend Michelle to anyone, and will definitely return to her if I need my makeup done for any future occasions.

Michelle did my makeup for my April 2015 wedding, and I would recommend her highly!
From first booking to trial to wedding day, she was a pleasure to work with. And she did a fabulous job -- my makeup looked great in person, photographed beautifully, and lasted all night.

Michelle was very accommodating and came to us for our makeup session to help with an already busy day. It was a last minute booking due to a cancellation and she went out of her way for us and made a trip to the Okanagan. The makeup looked beautiful and everyone was pleased and looked stunning with her final result that also included lashes. She was there to help with touch ups and the products used were long lasting on such an important day I would recommend her again to any bride!

Michelle is a wonderful lady to work with. She listens if you have concerns like for example...I have sensitive skin and she took my concerns into consideration. :) she also has a wonderful sense of style. I left my ladies in her hands without any guidance and they all looked absolutely beautiful!!!!! She's very professional and easy going. And hugely reasonable for any bride on a budget!!! We all got a ton of compliments on our make up and without any question she also fit my new sister in law and mother in law after we were done. Timing was impeccable. :-) She took everything and went with it. I trusted her to do her thing and she exceeded my expectations by far with all of us!!!! Love her!!!
