  J'ai contacté le studio Caroline Théoret dans le cadre de mon mariage.
  
  Concernant la coiffure : Romain nous a tous charmés. Il prend bien le temps de comprendre nos besoins et ses coiffures étaient toutes magnifiques. Les coiffures ont durée toute la soirée !
  
  Concernant le maquillage : J'ai demandé au test un maquillage naturel. J'ai été déçue du résultat. Je crois qu'elle a tenté de mettre une grande quantité de makeup pour tenter faire un effet naturel, plutôt que d'y aller avec un maquillage naturel qui conserverait le naturel de mon visage. La journée de mon mariage j'ai donc demandé quelque chose de plus légé et j'ai été satisfaite du résultat :) Je crois que même si c'était encore une bonne épaisseur de maquillage, le résultat était vraiment beau ! Mon conjoint m'a cependant mentionné qu'il m'aurait trouvé plus belle si je m'était maquillée moi-même. Ma demoiselle d'honneur s'est enlevée une bonne quantité de maquillage sur le visage pendant le trajet vers la cérémonie. Ma mère a été satisfaite (mon père la trouvait magnifique ♥) mais trouvait que ça avait rendu son visage plus sévère et la vieillissait.
  
  Concernant les sourcils : Caroline fait vraiment une belle job !
  
  J'hésitais entre 2 ou 3 étoiles, car la coiffure et les sourcils étaient vraiment magnifiques. Cependant, la propriétaire a vraiment terni notre expérience.
  
  Lors de nos échanges par courriel au tout début, elle m'envoi la confirmation destinée à une autre cliente. L'erreur étant humaine, je n'en fait pas de cas. La journée de mon essayage, je me déplace à plus d'1h15 de chez moi. Lorsque j'arrive, il n'y a personne au Studio. Caroline m'avait oublié. Elle dit que la seule chose qu'elle peut faire pour me dédomager est de m'offrir rouge à lèvre et gloss. Encore une fois, l'erreur est humaine. Mais deux en deux j'ai trouvé que ça manquait de professionalisme.
  
  Aussi, j'avais lu quelques reviews sur Google mentionnant qu'elle était à l'argent. Je crois avoir largement sous-estimé cet aspect de la personnalité de Caroline. Sachez que :
  - Le contrat que vous signerez avec elle n'en est pas vraiment un. Moins de 48 heures avant le mariage, Caroline m'envoie la facture et bien que je lui dise que je vais la payer en dedans de 24h suivant la réception de la facture, elle communique avec moi plusieurs fois par messenger et même m'appelle pour me presser à la payer. La facture indiquait aussi plusieurs centaines de dollars de plus que déterminé dans le contrat. Certains items étaient totalement justifiables dans la facture car j'en avait demandé l'ajout. Cependant, soudainement elle me chargeait un maquillage mentor plutôt que senior (senior que j'avais demandé dans mon courriel de réservation et écrit sur le contrat) et me chargeait presque le double de frais pour le déplacement. Elle m'a rappelé à 19h la veille de mon mariage et j'ai du prendre du temps pour négocier avec elle pour rétablir le prix tel que convenu.
  - Pour ses prix pour les coiffures, sachez que lorsqu'il est mention de prix par personne, pour 3-5 personnes, etc., et bien c'est concernant le nombre de personnes avec le même choix de coiffure et non le nombre de personnes ayant réservé. C'est du jamais vu pour mon entourage et moi.
  - La journée du mariage, elle fait mention d'argent directement ou indirectement à chaque demi-heure. Tente de nous soutirer le plus possible tout au long de notre heure de maquillage, ce qui rend l'expérience moins agréable. Ensuite, pendant que je suis sur la route vers la cérémonie Caroline m'écrit concernant le fait qu'elle va modifier ma facture car elle s'est trompée et a oublié de m'aviser que j'ai des frais additionnels qui se sont ajoutés dans la journée.
  
  Bref, je manque d'espace mais je ne recommanderais pas Caroline. Le stress occasionné, le fait qu'elle s'autorise à modifier le contrat à sa guise et à faire des erreurs à son avantage, à me contacter pour me parler d'argent pendant ma cérémonie, démontrent vraiment son manque de professionalisme.

  STAY AWAY!!!!!! RACIST!!!
  As mother of the bride she is the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever met. She was late, and rushed before the ceremony and then made my daughter wait a half hour to do her touch ups because she was on the phone and refused to get off! She even yelled at the groom''s mother who's first language is not English!! Who does that??? She ruined my daughter's wedding day. STAY AWAY PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR!!!!!

  Racist and aggressive !!

  Avoid at ALL COSTS!!!
  
  My experience at Caroline’s makeup studio was traumatizing, to say the least. As part of my sister in laws bridal party, we had our makeup done here but from the beginning until the end, I don’t recall there being a single pleasant moment spent in her presence.
  
  You will notice that the only positive reviews she has are from Quebecois natives. My experience as an a visible minority was starkly different. Caroline yelled at my Vietnamese mother for not the country’s language “after so many years here”… as if she knows our family’s history?! On the other hand, she founds many moments to pick on me and my French even though I’m fully bilingual. I just happen to be an anglophone native and woman of colour so she found that it was her place to comment on my language usage??
  
  On another note, my mother suffers from a medical issue that causes a partial paralyzation of part of her face. Unable to control much of her facial muscles, Caroline was screaming at her for not being able to raise her lip/eyelids while she was working on her. She was literally snapping at my mother and yelling at her (and me) because my mother is MEDICALLY UNABLE to do so. Let me remind you that this is a big complex for my mother so I 100% introduced her to Caroline by explaining her medical difficulties. She was not caught off guard or unaware. She is simply just a RACIST BIGOT and an absolute bully.
  
  Beyond this, we showed up at 1130am sharp only to have Caroline spend the first three hours taking calls and appointments while we staggered around dumbfounded. I tried to communicated with her, as my sister in law was stressed about being off schedule, only to have Caroline snap at me and shush me and never answer our concerns. All of this caused us to be an entire hour late on schedule and miss a majority of our photo session. The same thing happened for the touchups — rather than being quick and swift as promised, she took an hour or more to complete 5 touchups that should’ve taken a total of 30 minutes!! Again, because she was off in her corner taking phone calls and appointments. We missed the ENTIRE cocktail portion of the wedding due to her rude incompetence.
  While doing my touchups, Caroline continuously belittled me because I do not know how to apply makeup and am not someone who cares to do so. Was this all a ploy to sell me her makeup tutorials at an extra price, or just another one of her bullying tactics? I’ll never know. I can just tell you that she will succeed at making you feel like you are a piece of incompetent shit. When she was working on my mother’s makeup, she asked what makeup my mother generally wears, to which my mother answered that she doesn’t usually wear makeup. At this point, she was SCREAMING at my mom “IS YOUR LIPSTICK RED OR PINK OR NUDE?!?! WHICH IS IT?!? ANSWER THE QUESTION” as if we hadn’t already answered it?!! She used every chance possible to belittle us for being who we are — ANGLOPHONE VISIBLE MINORITY FEMALES.
  
  Please PLEASE do yourself a favour and go ANYWHERE ELSE. Go makeupless to your wedding if need be!!! Caroline’s behaviour towards clients is just revolting and regardless of her abilities as a makeup artist, she WILL RUIN YOUR BIG DAY.

  Horrible experience - please read

  First of all, Caroline is RACIST. Unfortunately I only found out after my wedding that she was YELLING at my Vietnamese mother in law and insulting her constantly while she was doing her makeup. Caroline made personal attacks on culture, race and my mother in law’s health condition. Not to mention, she was bashing on other cultures throughout the entire day as well.
  
  Secondly, Caroline was doing absolutely NOTHING for the first 2.5 hours of our arrival to the studio and I was 1 HOUR LATE to my own wedding!!!! (I unfortunately I barely got to take any photos with my husband and our families because of her), and then missed my ENTIRE COCKTAIL HOUR because she was on the phone during the touch ups. She also didn’t have my receipt ready AND messed it up multiple times which and I regret even paying it.
  
  Caroline is a BULLY. She is pushy, toxic and beyond unprofessional. She makes you feel bad about yourself for not being able to afford/not purchasing all of the add ons too.
  
  She also had both of her huge and violently shedding dogs present in her studio without prior warning. She has two birds that to not shut up and it was extremely irritating for the entire bridal party.
  
  PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR LOVED ONES FROM RUINING ANY SPECIAL OCCASION YOU ARE PLANNING, DO NOT BOOK HERE. It is a toxic and unsafe environment. Going to Caroline is the only regret I have in regards to my wedding day. If I could give negative stars I would.

  Une expérience unique

  Caroline et sa collègue se sont occupées de mes cheveux et de mon maquillage à l'été 2022. Se faire maquiller par Caroline est une expérience unique : son talent, son professionnalisme et sa personnalité pétillante font que je recommande cet endroit à quiconque souhaitant avoir un maquillage ABSOLUMENT MAGNIFIQUE mettant en valeur tous vos beaux traits. Un mariage coûte très cher et on veut souvent couper où on peut, mais acheter les services de Caroline a été une des meilleures décisions que j'ai prises pour cet événement inoubliable. Elle a aussi maquillé ma mère de 67 ans et le résultat était tellement beau que mes invités me parlent encore aujourd'hui d'à quel point ma mère était belle.
  
  En plus, je suis arrivée avec l'idée farfelue d'avoir des perles autour des yeux. Elle m'a écoutée et s'est arrangée pour que ça soit très beau tout en respectant les dimensions de mon visage et le décorum de l'événement. Merci 1000 fois ! :)

  Stunning work and and absolute blast!

  I highly recommend Caroline’s studio for professional make up and hair services. I chose Caroline for my wedding based on her experience and outgoing nature over the phone. I can safely say that my first impression was accurate, I received professional hair and makeup services while having a blast; during the trial and especially on my wedding day!! Caroline and her team achieved 3 knock out looks, all very unique; for myself, my sister and my mother. She encouraged us out of our comfort zones while keeping our wishes in mind the whole time. On top of our looks, we felt right at home in the studio all day thanks to Caroline’s hospitality and hilarious personality. Don’t hesitate to contact her ASAP if you have an event coming up!

  Très belle expérience au studio Caroline Théoret pour mon essaie maquillage pour mon mariage qui aura lieu cette été.
  Je suis une personne qui se maquillage très rare & très peu. & je suis très satisfaite du résultat, elle est à l écoute & une personne gentille et simple & je suis en confiance pour me faire belle le plus grand jour de ma vie. Merci Caroline

  Caroline and her team took care of me on my wedding day. I first did a trial on the day of my bridal shower, and I must say her work was impeccable on both occasions.   Caroline and her team were able to make my day wonderful... They also take great care of everyone in the wedding party, and I highly recommend her. We did our hair and makeup with her team, and the results were breathtaking! Even after my wedding day, I am still a client of the hairdresser and Caroline for my beauty routine.
