Our Wedding Day Fairy Godmothers!

Amazing, professional, beautiful service. TheLoveTeam made our day. Nora and her assistants did a brilliant job. Our hair and make up stayed all day and night. Beautiful application that accentuated our features and didn't feel like a mask. The process itself was fun, relaxed and full of laughter. Thank you for being an awesome part of our wedding!

Amazing experience!

Working with The Love Team for my wedding day was a dream! They were responsive and communicative throughout the whole process, made the trial enjoyable, and did a fantastic job of hair and make up for my mum and I on my wedding day. Vera and Vivian both were fabulous and I'd definitely go back for any other event hair and make up I need in the future. Can't recommend them enough!

Had us all looking flawless!

Our main makeup artist was Vivian. I cannot say enough good things about her. During my trial, she worked off of the inspiration photos that I had found online and took feedback on my thoughts of how it looked. She was friendly and easy to work with and chat with throughout the entire process. She even gave me feedback on what I needed to do in the months leading up to my wedding to help my skin out. On my wedding day, she took the feedback and slight changes I wanted to implement and did it flawlessly! From one oily skin girl whose makeup usually breaks apart around my T-zone and slides off, I can honestly say that my...

Our main makeup artist was Vivian. I cannot say enough good things about her. During my trial, she worked off of the inspiration photos that I had found online and took feedback on my thoughts of how it looked. She was friendly and easy to work with and chat with throughout the entire process. She even gave me feedback on what I needed to do in the months leading up to my wedding to help my skin out. On my wedding day, she took the feedback and slight changes I wanted to implement and did it flawlessly! From one oily skin girl whose makeup usually breaks apart around my T-zone and slides off, I can honestly say that my makeup looked pretty much flawless until we arrived home at 2am that night (and we started getting ready at 6am!) I have never in my life had makeup last so long and had my hair still look good after so many hours of sun, and dancing and sweat! She provided me with a little touch up kit of hair pins, powder and lipstick. I ended up choosing to use a different lipstick in the evening and powdered my nose twice but that is it!
Vivian even stayed just a little bit later to do my mom’s makeup since the secondary makeup artist left early for some reason. We also had Decca doing hair for my mom and bridesmaids and all of their hairstyles lasted well into the night with no touch ups needed. Overall, we would highly recommend Vivian and the Love Team for your HMU wedding day needs.

Clarice was amazing!

Clarice did an incredible job doing my hair and makeup for my wedding.

As someone who barely wears any makeup, I was nervous because I wasn't confident in wearing so much makeup. Clarice was wonderful as she was very reassuring and confident in being able to provide the look I was hoping for from our first consultation meeting to my wedding day.

During our trial, Clarice gave fantastic advice on how to take care of my skin, leading up to my wedding date. My skin looked so much better the day of my wedding, and I was so relieved that her advice helped clear my skin so much. She was also open to any changes...

Excellent!

I had Coa as my makeup artist for my wedding on May 19, 2024. She is a talented artist who understands the needs of different facial structures. She was easily able to accommodate when I wanted to change things completely between the trial and the wedding day. Throughout, she was professional and responsive. I received many compliments on my makeup on my wedding day. I felt very safe in Coa's hands I would recommend The Love Team to anyone!

Beyond amazing! Lovely team! Flora is THE GIRLIE ♥♥

As a bride-to-be who basically never wears makeup (maybe eyebrows and mascara once a month), I was nervous to have my makeup done for my wedding. However, my friends who had weddings before mine all espoused having their makeup professionally done as it looked so much better in photos. And so I began my search for a makeup artist who would be able to translate my vague ideas into something beautiful and comfortable. As an Asian-Canadian, I also had apprehension regarding my hair and having it done - my hair notoriously prefers to be straight and not hold a curl. I was nervous that my hair vision might not hold up throughout the wedding, so I was really looking...

However, my friends who had weddings before mine all espoused having their makeup professionally done as it looked so much better in photos. And so I began my search for a makeup artist who would be able to translate my vague ideas into something beautiful and comfortable. As an Asian-Canadian, I also had apprehension regarding my hair and having it done - my hair notoriously prefers to be straight and not hold a curl. I was nervous that my hair vision might not hold up throughout the wedding, so I was really looking for someone who has a lot of experience with Asian hair (and skin tones/facial features). My day-of-coordinator recommended Refined Beauty team when I described to her my apprehensions and desire for someone familiar with Asian skin and hair. And oh man, I am so grateful she recommended Flora and that she was free for my wedding day! I went through Refined Beauty Inc and let Vicky know that I was interested in hiring them if they were available for my wedding date, but did want to make sure Flora was available as well. Luckily, she was! I was able to have my hair and makeup trial done a few months out from my wedding and was super pleased with the results. I showed her the inspiration photos I had gathered and explained the look I was going for in rather vague terms - I had difficulty putting what I wanted into proper words. But, she was able to translate my muddled descriptions and create a makeup look that was absolutely incredible! It was the most makeup I had ever had on my face, but it really didn’t feel like a lot at all! And for my hair, she showed me two looks (given my inspo photos) - one ponytail and one updo. On the actual wedding day, there were to be a total of five of us ladies getting our hair and makeup done. Martha was the other artist who came and she did the makeup for the rest of the group, while Flora did their hair. I had Flora for both hair and makeup, just like for my trial. And after having my trial, there were a few minor tweaks I wanted to do. Flora was able to easily make those adjustments to perfection - for example, I wanted to go a little higher with the ponytail and a little more glam on the eyelids. It was all such a breeze and every one of the ladies loved their final results! Honestly, I had never felt so beautiful and confident - and that was in large part to Flora’s magic. My hair and makeup withstood the entire day - my hair kept its beautiful wave and my makeup didn’t smear or fade away. Flora always made me feel comfortable and relaxed during both the trial and the wedding day. I highly recommend Refined Beauty and especially Flora for their amazing work!

Just say Yes

I had hired Coa for my recent wedding day and I have absolutely no regrets. Coa is so sweet and knowledgeable. She definitely knows what she is doing!! She made me so beautiful the day of and my make up lasted all throughout the day. I receieved many complements thanks to her! Her team also did an amazing job with my bridesmaids. Everyone looked so beautiful! Finally, Clarice came during the evening for my touch up and did a great job on my hairstyle change. I was very happy with my decision to hire the love team. I loved the way my hair and makeup turned out for the big day and my wedding parties. It was definitely a good decision to have a trial run which went smoothly. They were very flexible and responsive. On the day of everything went so smoothly and we were even done everyone’s hair and makeup early! It made the day less stressful and turned out amazing!
