Best day of our lives

I just wanted to send a quick email saying thank you again to Heidi & Ana! They were absolutely incredible the morning of our big day. They both were so kind, and extremely adaptable - they made us all feel comfortable in such a small space. The girls each worked their magic on both mine and Dylan’s moms, Dylan’s sister, two of my best friends and myself in such a short period of time! I personally do not wear makeup often - but my goodness Heidi made me feel like a princess and if I was able to do what she does I would wear it more often! I felt so beautiful. I couldn’t imagine my hair or makeup being any different for the best day of my life - Heidi gave me everything I wanted and more!

Bridal makeup and hair trial

I saw the Instagram page and saw great reviews online, so I signed up for a bridal trial and paid a deposit to save my date. At the trial, they told me it is going to be a surprise so I wasn’t allowed to see the mirror until the very end. At the end, I felt like a scary doll with my hair tightly pulled back and harsh makeup. I felt that their make-up is uniform, without suiting it to the individual. She said she had to close up the studio and go somewhere so I had no time to suggest any changes. Afterwards, I emailed them to see if we could make a few adjustments to the look and they said yes but I need to set up another trial. They also said “I get the impression that I may not be the right artist for you and there’s no way that I would be able to credit you for the deposit when we’ve spent many months securing artists for the 2 weddings we have that day as well as all the time spent on communications and scheduling of your big day.” It seemed a bit risky to pay for another trial so I ended up cancelling the bridal makeup and hair services - wasted over $600 on the deposit :(

Lesson learned: do the trial and pay the deposit only if you like her style.

I am super ridiculously picky, and Suzanna is a perfectionist, she managed to go beyond my expectations. Definitely THE BEST.
I first find her after a lot of disappointments, Tori Blush Is the most professional team I have ever work with.

The team at Tori Blush is honestly as good as it gets. The owner, Suzanna, has sky-high standards in all areas of her business practice (speaking as a former student as well as an on-going client) and it shows not only in the service she provides but also in her staff. These lovely ladies are exceptionally skilled and, more importantly, are CONSISTENT with the level skillfulness that they provide to their clients. I won't go anywhere else for my beauty needs.

I had high hopes for this team as I had my hair and make-up done by them as a bridesmaid a couple years ago.

I contacted them back in September about wedding hair and make-up for myself, 2 bridesmaids, and 2 moms for next summer. They were initially great at getting back to me. However, I asked for an invoice adjustment to decrease from 2 mom's hair and make-up to one, and I wanted to put down a deposit to officially book in the date and I didn't hear back from them. I sent a follow up email a week afterwards, and have heard absolutely nothing. It's now the end of October.

The date that I requested is quite popular and could have been booked up, but the professional and courteous thing to do was to let me know the date was no longer available if that was the case instead of ghosting. I would give them no stars if I could.
