Meet the team
I am almost 14 years old and I play the bagpipes several times per week in two bands, on my own, and with my instructor. I have been participating in many highland games and, in March 2019, I will be playing solo at a formal military Mess Diner at the RCAF Mess in Ottawa. This will be my third Mess Diner.
As I get ready to compete this summer, I want to do something more: I want to create a business because this is what youth should be doing: creating their own jobs.
I have a large enough repertoire with a wide range of songs that I feel comfortable playing at events as a solo piper and I can easily learn most songs.
For your event, you can count on me to do many things: march in the Bride, the Head Table, play a lament to remember someone who should be at the wedding, jigs for those that want to dance, and to help everyone have a good time.
You can be the person who will stand up and say "we are supporting our youth because they are the future".
