Ben’s Doing Fine is a four-piece band in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Having emerged in 2023, this band is still relatively new. Despite this, each member brings a wealth of performance and studio recording experience. Our setlist is constantly growing, focusing on delivering a memorable performance full of hit songs from the 80s, 90s, and today. We’re excited about the opportunity to make your wedding an event to be remembered!
We pride ourselves on exceptional musicianship and quality sound. We utilize synth/keyboard backing tracks where required to provide a full sound that is true to the original song.

Edward Cooze

From Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, Ed has been involved in the music industry since the early 90s, beginning with his time as part of the stage crew for the popular Halifax band ICU.

After his time with ICU he embarked on pursuing his own passion for singing by hosting karaoke at events and in pubs around HRM.

Ed's brings life to every party and is excited to front Ben's Doing Fine.

Brad Fraser

From Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Brad started playing guitar in 1996 at age 13, quickly forming a band with his friends and performing all ages shows starting at age 14. This group stayed together for eight years, moving into the Cape Breton bar circuit when the members were 19 years old.

Brad eventually moved to Halifax and played with various people, eventually joining Brite-VU as lead guitarist / backing vocalist. Brite-VU recorded and released their debut album in 2009, which included the single 'Crash', which was played on radio stations Canada wide. Brad played with the group for three years, touring around the maritimes and promoting their music on TV and radio.

From Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Nick started playing in bands at age of 16. He is a founding member of Halifax’s heavy metal band Black Moor. While in Black Moor Nick would tour the east coast of Canada and have music featured in network television. In 2010 Nick moved on from Black Moor to play in the post-hardcore group We’re Doomed. They recorded 2 EP’s, Like a Machine in 2010, and How to Destroy Something Beautiful in 2011. We’re Doomed went on to play the Canadian dates of the Vans Warped Tour in 2011.

In 2014 Nick became a member of the Halifax indie-pop band Glory Glory. While in Glory Glory Nick toured Eastern Canada regularly, and was fortunate to play with the group in Germany and the United Kingdom.
