Background and Experience

Cindy is a professionally trained opera singer, freelance artist, and singer-songwriter from Hamilton, Ontario Canada.

Watching the Sound of Music as a child her desire to sing was sparked. Cindy received her initial musical training at the Royal Conservatory of Music, the University of Toronto, BA followed by Queen’s University, Vocal Performance in Kingston, Ontario. Ensuing her studies, she felt a soul calling to go to Austria.

There she sang in the Kammer Opera House in Vienna and was a member of the world-renowned Vienna Singverein. Thereafter she faced extreme challenges and setbacks on a personal level. Her dedication continued and she was able to study under many famous singers which culminated in her receiving her Parity Commission final stage exam in Operetta. She was able to work as a free-lance artist in Operetta concerts for tourists for many years in Vienna and the Sound of Music Ensemble as well as solo engagements in Europe and Canada.

Cindy sings a diverse spectrum of genres: classical, Celtic, film, vintage pop, musical, and spirituals. Cindy made a television appearance in the Austria casting show where she performed the famous soprano aria, O mio babbino caro. She was also Guest Soloist on the # 1 Vocal Album for Best Music 2018. She has been led to composing her own songs which are available now out on YouTube, CD Baby, Spotify, Amazon Music, iTunes, and Pandora and much more. The links are also provided here.

Cindy is an ordained Metaphysical Minister and she has sung at many weddings, baby blessings and memorials. She would be most delighted to sing for couples to make this momentous occasion a beautiful and memorable experience.

Services

Cindy is available to sing at the wedding ceremony, agape or as a highlight at the reception. She is also happy to sing at other venues such as baptisms, memorials, celebrations of life, other religious or spiritual ceremonies and significant occasions. In addition, she will be delighted to learn new songs. She hopes to touch your heart and uplift your soul.
