Divine Harp is a wedding entertainer based in Hamilton, Ontario. She specializes in a groundbreaking, innovative style using the Boss Loop Station alongside her masterfully trained classical and jazz fingers. This makes her the only harpist in Canada to use this incredible new and exciting method of musical technology in her live shows and recordings. As an award winning performing and recording artist, she has played at many celebrity weddings around the GTA and has performed at prestigious locations such as the Roger's Center at a Blue Jay's game.

Experience

Alyssa Michalsky is the professional harpist behind Divine Harp. Her accolades and awards span over 20 years in the business and she continues to teach, perform and adjudicate all over Ontario. She is proud to have delivered over 5,000 performances in her lifetime. Alyssa also holds a Master’s Degree in Harp Performance from the University of Toronto. She currently holds a position as the Head Harp Examiner for the Royal Conservatory of Music.

Using the added benefit of a concert grand electric harp for her incredible performances, Alyssa spans all genres from classical to contemporary and pop and jazz. The electric harp is connected to a DJ quality sound system, making it perfect for performing both at indoor and outdoor venues. Most recently her unique talents have caught the eye of Toronto’s own: Domanique Grant. This extraordinary Indie-Pop singer/songwriter decided to pair her soulful artistry with a harpist. Ms. Grant’s inspirational accolades span across the globe and give a rich history and deep soulfulness to her exquisite voice. Ms Michalsky and Ms Grant have collaborated on a number of projects together and will continue to bring forth new content together showcasing each other’s talents and diversity. Alyssa's ability to play over 500 of her own personal arrangements by heart, is nothing short of spectacular and will leave you with an incredible musical memory from your wedding for years to come.
