JAAZ, from Abbotsford, British Columbia, are a band providing a mix of jazz, swing and blues. They play songs spanning from the swing era to modern day tracks. The duo consists of Rachel Stewart and Edward Pilkington with Rachel providing vocals and Edward on the guitar. They are also open to adding other instruments to in order to suit clients’ requests.

Experience

Rachel studied opera at the University of British Columbia in 2008. She was a coloratura soprano in her career as an opera singer and has played leading roles for many companies locally and in Europe. Edward has more than 30 years of experience in many genres of music. He has played Chinguacousy Swing Orchestra and Hot Club de Brampton for more than seven years. He has also taught music for 16 years at Lillooet Secondary School in British Columbia. He is currently teaching at Long & McQuade Lesson Centre in Abbotsford.
