I am an experienced multi-instrumentalist and music educator who has performed on nationally televised networks such as CBC, CityTV, TVO, and Omni. And most recently, I have had the opportunity to perform my original composition titled 'The Flutter' for a TEDx conference.

I hold a Bachelor of Music Degree specializing in Music Education, majoring on the euphonium from the University of Toronto, an Advanced Piano Specialist certification from the Royal Conservatory of Music, and is a member of the Toronto Musicians' Association, Local 149 of the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada (AFM).​

I built upon my mastery of classical piano by expanding my instrumental proficiency to include trumpet, trombone and euphonium. It was this further development of my repertoire that broadened my musical reach and afforded me many opportunities to perform with a variety of local and international musicians both at home in the greater Toronto area and abroad.​

While I am Classically trained, my talents lend themselves to a myriad of genres. You can find performing all over the city as a soloist as well as in varying ensembles, ​which includes violinists, steel pan players, and classical, pop, Latin and R&B singers and bands.

Jessica has over 17 years of professional musical experience working as a freelance session musician, composer/arranger, and private instructor. She is the pianist for Strings & Keys, a wedding and party music duo, music director and half of Paint & Keys, an artistic duo thats offers a unique sensory experience that involves live art and music, and pianist for The BL3ND Piano Trio.

I'm Roberto Michels, violinist for Strings & Keys. I hold a Bachelor of Music degree with Honours and a specialization in Music Education from the University of Western Ontario.

My passion for music began at age three, having been entranced by a violinist on TV and deciding that I would master this wonderful instrument. From that point on, I was focused on perfecting my technique and dedicating my life to a career in music performance.

It was during my university years where my interests evolved from music performance to music education. Currently, I am a music teacher with the Toronto Catholic District School Board as well as a private teacher to violin, piano, and guitar students young and old.

I have extensive experience as a top liner and song writer for the Family Channels’ “The Next Step”, and as a regular performer singing the national anthems for the Raptors, Maple Leafs, and Blue Jays.

My vocal abilities are best suited to but not limited to R&B, Pop, Crooner, Alternative, & Gospel music.
