A classical guitarist based in London, Ontario, Kevin Love can play in a variety of styles, conjures a great deal of colour from his instrument, and has played at more than 300 weddings. He is more than happy to perform at your wedding or private party. An active chamber musician, he plays with a number of trios and duos in and around London. He has also been a guitar teacher for more than 25 years.

Experience

He studied at Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC) and the University of Southern California and has participated in a fair number of master classes. An award winning guitarist, he has received the Ensemble Award from USC, the Music Faculty Scholarship from LAVC, and took first place in a Classical Guitar Association competition at LAVC. As for performance, Kevin Love’s credentials are as extensive as they are impressive. Classical music aficionados will have seen him perform at such local venues as the Elmhurst Inn, Willie's Cafe, Verandah Cafe, Garlic’s of London, and Windermere’s Cafe. There have been numerous concert performances as well at Bishop Cronyn Memorial Church, Aeolian Hall, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Museum London, St. Mary's Presbyterian Church, Colborne Street United Church, and Wesley-Knox United Church.

Wedding clientele will find that he is as well versed in the music of the Renaissance as he is in contemporary composition. Kevin Love is available as a solo performer or as a member of one of his ensembles. In consultation with his clients, Kevin can make arrangements for the added accompaniment of vocalists, flutists, violinists, or additional guitarists.
