Meet the team
I have been a music teacher for the past 30 years. I've also been a musical director, director of stage bands in various schools and I've participated in special endeavours such as Jazzfest and Musicfest.
As a freelance musician playing the bass and the doublebass, I have worked with orchestras, musical bands and singers as an accompanist, arranger and musical director. I am a composer as well as a producer of demos and albums.
I have been singing since a young age. I am a member of a few different choirs and i've had roles in musicals for three years. Passionate about vocal harmonies, I was part of the vocal group Les Jazzeries for 6 years to broaden my musical horizons, and then joined the jazz trio, Sunshine. I perform in various concerts as a soloist and as a chorister. Although I love many musical styles, I likes jazz ensembles most!
I've been playing drums since childhood, and began my professional career at the dawn of adulthood with the Quebec group Vulgaires Machins. Curious by nature, I have done multiple collaborations on discs, as well as on stages (Montreal Jazz Festival, Montreal FrancoFolies, Montreal Place des Festivals, etc.), with groups and singer-songwriters from horizons various musicals (Mentana, Viviane Audet, Edgar Bori, etc.)
Over time, I've had the opportunity to participate in the composition of music for shows and for the theater - while acting as a musician on stage.
Influenced by jazz drummers such as Max Roach and Brian Blade, and rock drummers such as John Bonham and Dave Grohl, I am very much a music lover eager for discoveries.
