We had the Supersonic Hearts Band at our wedding this summer and we were thrilled with them! We are big fans of live music, especially something with a bit of brass, and so we were excited by the options to customise what size of band we could have on the day.
We opted for the 7 piece band and oh man did they deliver - it was such a fun time and the band truly were fantastic! Some of our favourite memories of the day are of us dancing with family and friends to covers of Abba, Blink 182 and Taylor Swift - what a mix!!! -

Supersonic Hearts were fantastic! Our guests had such a wonderful time. They played all the songs that kept everyone on the dancefloor until the end of the night. Stacy was our ceremony DJ, MC, and singer and blew it out of the park! She knew how to keep that party going and wow what an amazing performer, thanks so much, Stacy! All went according to plan, everyone arrived on time, communication leading up to the day was fantastic, and the music was amazing! -

If you are looking for a band with range that can provide funky, upbeat, and danceable music for your event - then look no further. This band has it all! We booked a 7-piece band for our wedding reception, and it was an absolute party. Our guests were all raving about how good the band was. The band was exceptionally talented, fun, and professional. We paid extra to have an audio technician and DJ and this was also completely worth it. The sound quality was good and having a DJ to finish the night out for our guests who wanted to keep dancing was great. We could not recommend this band more highly! -

Ross was very prompt and communicative while we were planning the wedding. The cocktail hour trio provided great ambiance while we sipped on cocktails and ate hors d'oeuvres. Danny and the band definitely kept everyone on the dance floor all night long! Danny did a great job communicating with our coordinators and was a great MC. Thank you for bringing the party to our big day! -

Mm Sent on 09/06/2024Great day of, Difficult leading up to the Wedding.
I’m sorry to have to give a less than stellar review but after mulling it over I think it’s good to provide feedback to the band and to others.
The good: they were amazing on the day of, with lots of energy and very talented musicians. Our guests loved the presence of the live band and it really changed the energy of our wedding. The instrumental band members were kind and great performers.
The bad: Most of our interaction with them leading up to the wedding was stressful and frustrating. Our wedding coordinator was also really not impressed and said something like “the mark of a good vendor is one who makes you feel confident that things will go well on your day, and not add to your stress”.
Emails were left unanswered. Directions and information were sent and re sent multiple times. I diligently filled out the “dashboard” page with “requests” and a certain “must play” song. They confirmed multiple times they could and would play this but they did not.
We were quoted one price, confirmed the price twice, paid the deposit for it but near the date, were told this was not enough and were going to be charged an additional $500 for audio, even though it is stated it is included in the contract. When asked about that they said “it’s a default contract, I didn’t write it”. We paid to avoid more trouble.
For ceremony music i was given the choice of only 4 songs (2 ed Sheeran, Taylor swift and one other) but was not told these until after I booked. In the end we were able to find songs that worked but it would have been better to have some feedback or a larger song list to choose from. The reception set was short. Only two sets were played instead of three, but none of this was communicated.
Our band contact asked if I liked a certain type of music - when I answered “no” - they said “thank god I’m so tired of [artist]”. I wasn’t offended but it was just not professional.
Overall we are still glad we went with a live band for our wedding, It was just a less than ideal process and felt that another band may have been more organized and given us less headache. I booked with them because their onboarding process and website looked good, and they sounded good at their showcase but it goes to show there’s a lot more involved for a good experience.Supersonic Hearts Band's reply:

It was a pleasure working with you and your team, and we truly had a wonderful time performing at your wedding. We always enjoy a full dance floor and the band really appreciated all the compliments from you and your guests!
I hope I can address some of your concerns. First of all, I sincerely apologize for the challenges you faced in the lead-up to your wedding day. After looking through our email correspondence, it appears that most responses were sent within 24 hours. That said, I know responses can take longer over the weekend while we are out performing at other events and I'm very sorry that that caused any stress.
Regarding the song requests, I'm truly sorry that not all your requests were performed. While we guarantee that we can learn 3 new songs per event, we do always try to go above and beyond. After looking at your requests and the set lists from the night, we played 9 requests as well as 60s/70s and modern pop songs as indicated in your worksheet. I recognize that a handful of requests were not included on the setlist. Again, I'm truly sorry that this fell short of your expectations. I would also like to apologize for the miscommunication regarding your ceremony music and any stress my initial recommendations caused. While we often suggest popular songs based on typical client preferences, I acknowledge that I could have made it more clear that these were not your only options. I do hope you were pleased with the more classical pieces we learned for your ceremony, such as Clair de Lune, Moon River, and Can’t Help Falling in Love. My intentions were truly to be helpful, and we are always happy to follow the couple's lead on ceremony and other requests!
In regard to the $500 audio package you mention, I do want to clarify for other clients that we do not offer such a package. I'm sorry if this was not clear in our conversation. Depending on the venue, we do charge extra for setting up a PA in separate locations for the ceremony or cocktail hour. Again, I'm very sorry for any misunderstanding.
Regarding the schedule, with the unexpected delays for the ceremony start due to venue power issues, the entire schedule was pushed back which, unfortunately, affected the timing of your reception. We consulted with your planner, who advised that performing two sets would be acceptable. The band extended those set lengths to gain back as much playing time as possible with fewer band breaks. We sincerely were trying to gain back performance time and I truly apologize that this was not communicated to you as clearly as it should have been.
We always strive to offer a customized and collaborative experience, and we are truly sorry that we did not fully meet your expectations. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. It will certainly help us improve our communication on future events.

If you want something a little extra special to get even your shy guests on the dance floor, Supersonic Hearts Band is it! We fell in love with their energy and how they involved the crowd, they are not your everyday 'wedding band'
Tim was wonderful to work with, with super quick responses and accommodations to all our needs! Their online event planner was also a wonderful touch! It aloud us to enter in song requests, music taste, time line and so much more! We got so many compliments about the band and how unique it was.
We went with the 7piece band, to bring in some brass to the dance sets! We also hired them to play during our cocktail hour (jazz trio) and providing sound for the ceremony. They offer lots of other services too :) -
