Words cannot describe how talented, patient, organized, and kind Tyler is. My husband and I were lucky enough to have Tyler as the live musician for our mountaintop wedding ceremony and it was the best decision. All communication with Tyler was fantastic and so easy. If you’re looking for a live musician for your ceremony, stop looking! You’ve found him!!

Tyler was so patient with us as we took ages to pick our songs (sorry, Tyler!). One of them was a Hindi love song, which Tyler was not familiar with, but that wasn’t an issue at all. With just one YouTube video of the song, Tyler created his own BEAUTIFUL cover of it in a couple of days! It was incredible and I hope he records a cover of it one day so I can listen to it every day. He is such a talented musician and I dare you to try to find a song he can’t play.

Not only is he incredibly patient and talented, but he was also such a sweet and gentle presence on our wedding day. Our family and friends are also huge fans of him and he is still often brought up in conversation, over a year later. We couldn’t be happier!

Tyler performed at our mountain elopement last year. He was very professional and added a calming presence to our special day. He is incredibly talented and was very responsive to our suggestions. We wanted him to play an Indian song on his guitar and he picked up the song quickly even with a short notice. I would highly recommend him!

Tyler is a passionate musician with a talent at playing various genres of music. He's an especially skilled guitarist. I've enjoyed watching Tyler perform at a variety of venues, always a professional in performing and interacting with his audience. His extensive collection of cover songs and original compositions is very impressive.

Tyler is versatile. Tyler can be a one man band singing big tent knee-slapping tunes as dames and damsels spiral around a dance floor, or a solemn tasteful accessory to a stern cold wedding. The weddings to each of my previous wives featured Tyler as the musical talent, each with the aforementioned vibe. My first wedding saw Tyler play George Straight, Faith Hill, Eric Church, Kenny Rogers, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts, Shania Twain, Kenny Chesney, and many others. The liquor was flowing and the strings were strumming until the wee hours. Unfortunately this first marriage was short-lived. I knew when I got married the second time, I needed Tyler to headline once more. Except this time I knew the crowd would be tougher. This post-church reception featured different ballads in addition to some of Tyler’s own content (by this time he had released his own record). This evening saw Tyler parked in a corner as guests arrived. He delicately played James Taylor, Michael Buble, Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, Luther Vandross and Eric Clapton as couples slowly entered the dance floor. By the end of the night I think he even got my ice-cold ex-in-laws swaying to Bryan Adams. Turns out this marriage didn’t work either. I can’t wait to get married a third time so we can test Tyler’s repertoire!

Tyler is a guitarist & vocalist who is well versed in may genres of music. He's personable, flexible, and easy to work with. I've witnessed Tyler play at various events and am always taken aback by his talent. Tyler has a innate ability to read the room and adjust his set list accordingly. He even tries his best to take "on the spot" requests from audience members. I would recommend Tyler without hesitation. He is a talented musician who takes great pride in his work!

Tyler James Johnson performed the ceremony music for our wedding and we honestly could not have been happier. He was professional and kind, not to mention extremely talented!! Tyler was absolutely incredible! My sister’s wedding was a small gathering on top of a mountain and he was able to fill the space and set the exact mood without taking us out of the mountain experience.
